Her name is Glory!

 

The gigantic Regional Hospital of Ayacucho, Peru is new and impressive with an army of small nurses. If they should they be any smaller, then people would call the Child Protective Agencies to investigate why there is such a great number of little ones in one place. At that same time people have seen seniors citizens also weeping great tears of pain as they go through the painful dialysis treatment.

I am one of those little ones that often weep in that hospital.

 

Yesterday I have completed one year under the care of a doctor whom I have come to know as “That awful doctor Roberto.”

 

As I was belly aching by letter before my personal friend and counselor the Army Psychologist the Doctor Mark Weiss, he passed a casual comment such as …”he also Needed Jesus.”

I was convicted to be his friend and after one year I would say…”He is my friend…”

He even touches me and talks to me like a Doctor to a patient.

 

He also is threatening to visit me in Huanta should my weight come down to 90 kilos. (Overweight.)

“The Gospel does work should you give it a chance.”

 

But this letter is about Gloria.

 

Carlos Huaman, the 53-year-old Former Army Sergeant, who is madly in love with Gloria, does not know Gloria either.

All we know about Gloria is that she is a struggling single mother with three little boys that keeps Carlos up all the night long. Carlos is my personal friend for over thirty years. Carlos works like a horse for a thirty-year old to educate only his one and only son Jason in a Law School.

 

Last night the Lord convicted me to whisper a word of love and marriage in his ears that has made me a regular “Yenta the Match maker… of the Fiddler of the Roof.”

I am wondering if Cupid has ever seen a face “Stricken by love as that of Carlos?”

Carlos is a single man, a very coveted bachelor.

Carlos is walking on Air and flying on vapor.
