“Criteria of Truth.”

 

For wisdom to Reign the Fear of the Lord must Shun Evil.

 

The conquest of wisdom requires that the Occupying king displaces the Occupant One. Just Like a water in a Crystal glass displaces air from the glass as it fills it, so fear of the Lord must Shun Evil. Water and air cannot occupy the glass at the same time. Light and darkness cannot dwell together. Light prevails in the darkness just as surely as The Fear of the Lord prevails over Evil.

 

From the knowledge of the “Filter” of the Fear of the Lord is the Criteria of Truth.

Nothing in the mind of man is worth keeping for salvation and sanctification but that which has first passed by the finest filter of the “Fear of the Lord.” Wisdom and the fear of the Lord is not adding wisdom over wisdom as if wisdoms needed more wisdom as soldiers are stronger in great number.

 

No!

The wisdom of God is a person and that is Jesus.

Wisdom and the Fear of the Lord are one and the same thing. 

Which means that Knowledge is “Pruning itself “ for its own good and for the benefit of many and its own blessing

 

The Fear of the Lord is unto salvation as knowledge is to sanctification. They are two faces of the same coin. 

Let us take an example: In the fear of the Lord and in a childlike Faith I believe in verses such as these: 

 

“Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.”

Matthew 5:4 

 

The promises of Jesus of his personal comfort makes my old and sick heart leap for joy which makes any amount of mourning so minuscule in comparison with what is coming to me.

If it were not for the Fear of the Lord …I would not be the inheritor of this wisdom and would live a life of sadness and despair.  My wisdom is rooted in the Fear of the Lord.

 

This article was supposed to be the backbone of my PHD dissertation. 

Nothing in Philosophy is more important to me than the Criteria of Truth.

 

Power and authority are the first born of the Fear of the Lord just as the twins of knowledge and wisdom. 

Without the Criteria of Truth, knowledge and wisdom at best is cleverness and nothing more.

Bear in mind that much of the secularization of the Christian mind is due to careless consideration of the Fear of the Lord. 

It only takes a generation for truth to suffer an irreparable erosion.
