Prayer
is God talking to himself in wordless groans.
When you cannot pray… it is time to be silent and
let the Holy Spirit pray for you with wordless groans.
“In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not
know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us
through wordless groans.”
Romans 8:26.
Lately it has been hard for me to pray as I have wanted
or needed.
It is in times like that when I appeal to the
“Fifth” so as not to incriminate myself and pray wrongly. So I let the Lord
himself who knows God so well to speak for me with …“Wordless groans.”
There is room for Lawyering in the economy of God.
No matter how eloquent, long or beautiful a human
prayer is, the prayer of the Holy Spirit by far is more acceptable to the ears
of a holy God.
The Trinity is very interested in the selfless job of intercession for the weak
and hurting saint.
Let us learn that God Cares for us with effectual
and everlasting care.
Just because you are not faithful or loyal, always
like God, He is also like us. No! God is faithful always and his love endures
forever.
“Wordless words” … oh how I love you and how I
need you.
Thank you that “you are.” Come more often to me
…for without you I perish.
Thank you Jesus for loving me “a most unlovable
creature.”
Recently I read the following:
“Ponder how valuable your soul must be for Satan
to tirelessly pursue it, and for the King to lay down his own life for it.”
Gerry Gutierrez.
