Taking no prisoners!!

Lately and in my old age I have come to wage war with the mentality of tearing down, arm twisting and taking no prisoners.

Interestingly enough, it is with more prayers I am investing in trying to persuade and convict sinners to repentance.

Consider the following verse prayerfully my friend:

 “…and we tear down every proud idea that raises itself against the knowledge of God.

We also capture every thought and make it give up and obey Christ.”

2 Corinthians 10:5

You might ask… the why of the change?

Two reasons:

I have not much time left on earth… neither does my audience have much time to waste.

Times are evil and there is no room for Eschatological urgency.

My peers have heard and seen the Gospel only too many times.

It is time to push for a decision!!!

Please pray that my tears might convince them since the hardness of the heart has made them unresponsive.

There seem to be very little tolerance left in me and on top of that there is only one nerve left in me and there is someone seated on it! (US Congressman).

Remember to get things straight with God on this side of Eternity, for later it is too late.
