Gerry Gutierrez' Update
Is it valid to say today: “Thus says the Lord?” “The Lord’s Prayer.” Tacoma, January 19, 2023.
The Lord’s Prayer is a Comprehensive Prayer taught by God himself. There is not a single unnecessary word in the Lord’s Prayer.
The seemingly idle opening words of “Hallowed be your name,” Is perhaps the most pregnant word in all of scripture. God was up front about time and space, the eternal and the infinite in the Lord’s Prayer. “These words contain the Eternal and the Infinite in a nutshell as in an embryonic stage.”
The idea of the infinite heaven and eternal God are the content of the opening words of the Lord’s Prayer. Jesus presents God as the Father, who dwells in the heavens of the heavens, and he is absolutely and completely separated from the seen world under the heavens.
Jesus is asking us to believe in God as someone absolutely Holy. Jesus is telling us the ultimate truth that God is from another kingdom and that Kingdom is spiritual and absolutely separated from any and every visible kingdom where humans dwell. God is in heaven.
The only bridge between God in heaven and human beings on earth are the words, “OUR FATHER.” We are to recognize God not only as a father, but as “OUR FATHER”. This is the first bridge that connects the visible with the invisible, the Temporal and the Eternal. The unfolding of the will of God is the purpose of Life. There is a reason why the Lord’s Prayer is built in this order. “Your will be done.”
God was upfront, creating the proper distance between the seen and the unseen world through time and space, by giving us only an idea of the infinite, and eternal as the dominion of God, and the earthly on the temporal as man’s world.
God does not need our declaration that his name is Holy in order to be Holy because he is already holy. I am and the whole of creation needs to know the idea of separation. This is the foundational Truth that must be accepted by Faith.
Prayer is not something that God needs or wants to hear from me. It is we who need to hear our own prayer in order to know what we really believe. Holy and anointed prayers are the only prayers where sin is absent.
The greatest reason for the Lord’s Prayer is that we need to know the spiritual and eternal God through the words of our own mouth. Nothing reveals more about a man than his own words. As we talk to God through prayer, we truly come to know our own souls if we humbly think of what we just said.

PS. Every night and day I seem to be navigating at the edge of death with many things to do and no help apart from my guardian angel that I so undeservingly enjoy. I am asking your prayers that I might keep the Scatological urgency to write that which our Lord has impressed in my heart and mind to write.
