"A King for a friend. " What a great fact".

“Jesus is King.” Jan. 17, 2023.

 

Jesus as King of man is a fact just as great as God is greater than any earthly King.

Do not let earthly terms swallow the true and greater truths of the spiritual world.   

 

What makes Jesus a great and unique King is that he is the friend of sinners. 

For the sinner to know that the king of kings loves him makes the greatest difference.  Sinners alone are in need of friends. I need no other friends. 

 

Dirt is dirty for the visible and dirty world of mud. You should not think that the dirt of dirt is dirty for the spiritual world.  Dirt to the spiritual world is like water on the back of a duck. The spirit world is Teflon to the material world.

 

Jesus did not die to make us better in order to like us but he died to transform us by separating us or sanctifying us from the material world. 

We are either separated from the world or we are not. 

We are either pregnant with salvation or we are not saved. 

We cannot be a little pregnant just as we cannot be a little bit saved.

We are either the friends of the King or the enemy of the king.

 

Since the King is the most powerful man in the Land. To be the friend of the king must count for something.  Especially after the words of Jesus who said and I believe it: “I will no longer call you servant, I will call you friends, because a servant does not know what his master does, but a friend does.”

 

The words of Jesus are designed to make us feel like co-equals to Jesus.

“Cheer up”.

 

You might have been abused but that is a thing of the past. But now you are free and partaker of the spiritual nature in Jesus.  To freedom we have been called, let us live as free in Jesus for that is what we are.

 

The great news of the Gospel does not rest in the fact of being saved from uselessness to usefulness but for being incorporated back to God where I was from eternity to eternity. This is another way of saying that we are Spiritual beings in and from God and for God created out of nothing for the glory of God. 

 

As much as you might have fallen in love with your Temporal and Material nature, you must never forget that one is temporal while the other is Eternal. 

Our existence makes sense only as the will of God unfolds as it does in the Spiritual Kingdom of God.  “Your will be done on earth as it is done in Heaven.” This was a kid friend of Jesus the King.
