Consider the Love and Grace of God Afresh.

My Goodness?...What Goodness? Jan. 14, 2023.

I know we have to do well. I know we have to speak well.

I know we are to behave well. I know we have to walk well.

I know we are to think well. But it is none of our goodness that saves us.

Salvation is for bad people only. A savior is for a sinner only. Forgiveness works for those who need to be forgiven. Good people do not need salvation. The Good News is for bad little boys and bad little girls only.

Those that I have learned to love and admire in life are those who were not faultfinders nor who confronted me for every foul they found in my life and made me feel so small and beyond redemption.

I am grateful to those who did not hold my sins against me. Those were like God who knew my sins and remember them well but NEVER REMEMBER to hold those sins against me, instead they make sure to remind me they were paid in full and that there is no reason to fear.

In the seen world there is plenty of room to store the evidence of my sins in the wearhouse of the serpent. In the spiritual world there is no room to store the memory of my sins but only as a past that has been already dealt with by Jesus and his cross.

“It is finished, paid in full, or you are forgiven” are not words to morbidly repeat to myself for some sort of gain on my feelings once dominated by guilt.

Those words are final words spoken by the judge of the universe.

To live as if he has not said those words of loving and gracious judgment, it is an abomination against the love and grace of God consumed in Jesus.

Beware to take the forgiveness of God seriously in grateful reverence for they are just as final as death itself. These might sound like reverse Psychology to some …but it is not. It is a consumated fact that to believe otherwise makes you your own worst enemy.

To kick an already dead horse is called “Over killing.”

There is no virtue no matter how much you must hate the miserable horse as deserving of death for throwing your brother and breaking his neck, remember the horse is already dead. Overkilling will make you look irrational and cruel.

The sooner that you remember the serpent's head has been mortally crushed, the sooner you will know that the rest of the body will not eat you up.

The life of a conqueror is not ahead of you but already in the past and the evidence is that your name is already written in the book of God in heaven.

Whether you feel it or not I beg you to rejoice. Let me know that the laughter of the redeemed is yours today.

To you who belong to Jesus in the spiritual world should know that the material world has no dominion over you at all. You are partakers in paradise alone with the repentant thief in spiritual fellowship with Jesus even though you are not aware at this time but you are an inheritor of that true life of Jesus.
