Good Morning Gerry,

This item [the previous letter] is ready to update to your web page. I think some clarification is needed. Does God as used here refer to the Trinity or to the Father, Son, or Holy Spirit as individuals in the Trinity?
I await your input.

Blessings,
Paul

Dear Paul.

The beauty of the trinity is in its perfect oneness that even if you try to deliberately and intentionally dissect God to understand it, "YOU CANNOT" because even at the thought level he remains "ONE."

Only Dimensional objects under the Sun within space and time can suffer the syndrome of division.

The trinity is Eternal and they never existed separately one from the other.

You might ask, "What about Jesus?

Jesus always existed within the trinity, but on Christmas Day he became for a little while what he never was and that is a Human Being. Emanuel.

The safest thing for me to say at this point is what Jesus said to his disciples: "It is not for you to know?"

This will not keep us from daring to dig into the revealed things of God because that belongs to us and to our children from generation to generation.

As for me and you Paul, we will claim the mountain at the edge of the promised land and like Moses to stretch our necks together to see if we can see some of the Secret things of God.

The upcoming articles on the Trinity will be a series of introductions or a stretching of our intellectual power to see the unseen world.

In the process we must remind each other that our real problem is not with what we already know and not with what we should know. Jesus' words to Nicodemus seem to be wise to remember at this time.  "If I tell you earthly things and you don't understand, how can you Understand heavenly things?"

Frankly speaking Paul, Our mind is equal to a bucket that can hold so much water and no more. Should we try to force the Ocean or the Eternal and Infinite in it would cause us to burst our skull and everything in it.

I can see the love and wisdom of God protecting us from self-destruction by placing some cookies on the upper shelves to enjoy in proper time in our new nature yet to come.

Apart from all that has been said, the righteous still lives by Faith.  Without Faith it is impossible to please God. Until then we will keep stretching our neck not out of need but out of Want.  Better to occupy our minds on heavenly things than earthly things.

Thinking out loud together is food for thought.

Paul’s Reponse

Good!  I will add a note so the casual reader will know when reading this item that God herein is the Trinity.

Paul.
