How so Lord?

 

“My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.”

John 15:12

 

Man is to love his fellow man not at the measure of his imagination but at the pattern of the Love of God in Jesus.

Nothing short of a self-giving love will satisfy God.

No one needs what you have or what you can do or what you know or can afford to share.

What man and God needs from you is your self-giving love of what you are.

 

Do not deceive yourself, true love starts in the giving of yourself.

 

No one but Jesus knows how to love and it is he who left Heaven and power and glory for the sake of Love.

 

It seems that the measure of true love is closely related to renunciation.

 

If you renounce what you do not have is not renunciation.

The only renunciation worth calling renunciation is the renunciation of what is near and dearest to you.

 

The life of Jesus was, is and always will be the maximum gift anyone can give to anyone.

Jesus is LIFE itself.!!!

 

Jesus gave his life for us in love when we were yet sinners.

The deep, deep love of God in Jesus is where man finds the root of the Love of God to start to understand God.

 

How so Lord?

AS I HAVE LOVED YOU!!

Go ye and do likewise.

Be what your Father in heaven is like.

Be imitators of The Lord God our Father in Heaven.
