Jesus the one and only.

“We believe in Jesus.”

 

It is the Father who “so” loved the world.

It is to our Father in Heaven we pray every prayer.

It is God the Father whose name is holy.

It is the will of the Father that is done in Heaven.

It is the will of God the Father that no one should perish.

 

God is Spirit and invisible, nobody has seen God and nobody can see God. God is love. God is Just. God “is”, we are “not.”

 

It is not only hard to know God.

It is not only impossible to know God.

IT IS INCONCEIVABLE TO KNOW GOD.

Apart from Jesus, we cannot know God.

Apart from revelation it is impossible to know God.

Any knowledge of God is not knowledge of God apart from Jesus.

If Jesus is not in the church, then Neither Jesus nor God is in the church.

 

“Yes, we believe in Jesus deep in our hearts, and so we are made right with God. And we openly say that we believe in him, and so we are saved.”

Romans 10:10 (ERV)

 

Recently I have intentionally put my finger on the scale of God the Father over against Jesus the Son of God. The main reason for this is that I am a sinful and weak man so prone to wonder from the love of God to idolatry in the sense that I find it easier to trust what I see than what I do not see.

 

Until faith becomes sight the day and I behold the Glory of God, I am doomed to be as blind as those idols that have ears but cannot hear, they have eyes but cannot see, mouth but cannot talk. As blind as I am, I detest the crooked eye and nearsighted whom I have allowed to lead me amiss.

 

You might be at the point of frustration about saying: “Who can deliver me from this body of death? I am so glad that you asked that because I coincide with you.

 

There is a savior provided by God the Father who “so” loved you and his name is Jesus. Jesus did not save you for himself but for the Father whom he loves totally, completely and perfectly. “If we are in God, we must live as Jesus lived.

LOVE GOD THE FATHER. PRAY TO GOD THE FATHER. PRAISE GOD THE FATHER. ADORE GOD THE FATHER.

Though he is in heaven, he is closer than you can possibly imagine.

In fact, he is the God next door where the thickness of the wall is already too thick to separate you from your feeble prayers.

Remember that the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous and his ears attentive to your prayer.

No need to shout, he can hear it all even the words that have not escaped your mouth. God does not sleep or slumber not is he like me who takes naps.

As I write this letter I am as miserable and sick as I can be in the flesh.

Gethsemane is more real than ever before.

 

My need for fellowship and prayer has been multiplied while the sleep of death reigns all around me. Pray for someone with vision from above to the value of friendship.
