“Afoot stool for a kingdom.”

“The way Jesus lived life.”

 

Just like time and space is a blip on the radar of the eternal and infinity, so is the history of redemption a history within the history of creation.

Time and space as we know it is but a pothole and a bump in the infinite highway of the eternal and the infinite. So is creation and redemption a history within history.

 

Remember that the seen world comes from the unseen world and the unseen world is Eternal while the seen world is temporal. One came out of nothing and one day will become nothing but the spiritual eternal world is forever and it does not depend for its existence on the things that the material world offers in order to keep it or maintain it.

 

Nothing can describe best the way Jesus lived life than his complete dependence upon the Father. The master mentor of every believer throughout the ages is Jesus himself who set the example by his own life.

 

The greatest quality of the life of Jesus is that he loved His Father in Heaven with all his heart, soul, mind and strength. Jesús loved his Father in Heaven one hundred percent and at all “times” from Eternity to Eternity.

You might have asked, “What about me?”

 

That is a valid question that I hope and pray the answer draws you closer to God the Father like nothing else has done.

 

The Gospel is the story about the love of Jesus for God the Father.

The knowledge of Jesus to know the will of God prompted Jesus in love to obey and to do the will of God. Knowing the will of God the Father makes the Son of God a debtor to the desire of God the Father.

 

Jesus said: “The reason why my Father loves me is that I obey his commands.” The life of Jesus was to do the will of the invisible God the Father. “Your will be done on earth as in Heaven.” Jesus with his own hands is now preparing Mansions of glory for those that the Father loves and brought to Jesus.

 

Jesus on the cross purchased with his own blood a kingdom for God the Father and presented to him with a card that read, “It is finished” or “Paid in Full” signed with his blood Jesus. Rightfully Jesus sits at the right hand of God the Father while the divine Father of the carpenter of Nazareth prepares a “Foot stool” for prince Jesus made out of his enemies.

 

As much as the Gospel is the Gospel of repentance for the forgiveness of sin, the real story of the Gospel is the love story of God the Father and God the Son.

 

“If we say we live in God, we must live the way Jesus lived.” 1 John 2:6

 

It is God the Father who so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son to purchase a kingdom for himself.

 

As you dig deep into the Lord’s prayer you’ll find the most amazing beauty of God’s love in that his sovereign will not even allow temptation to come close to you without this willingness under control to allow such a temptation passing its limits.  God immediately follows the reassuring words that the powers to deliver from such a temptation is inherent because no one but God the father is the owner of the kingdom and as such nothing that whatsoever comes to pass escapes his blessed control.

 

Partial truth will never equip the soul to die looking death as gain. But the pure truth of the knowledge of the root of our salvation will make us more than conquerors. Now you are equipped to live as Jesus lived.

 

This will make you free from falling into dependence on those that cannot save.

God the father alone is powerful and able to save therefore he alone deserves all glory and honor forever and ever amen.

 

Just in case the remedy is stronger than the sickness, which I aim to cure, let me assure you that Jesus and the father are one and the same thing. It was God the father who became a man in Jesus and as much as we find it difficult to understand this marvelous truth, it’s God the father in Jesus who has redeemed us.

  

In the indescribable hardship that has been my lot at the present time, there is one great comfort beyond my words that can described, and that is my predisposition to obey has opened wide the doors of insight into God’s heart. Now let us go to live as Jesus lived.

 

My one string banjo can only play one note and that is Jesus and his prayer.

It seems that all my life I am dedicated to finding someone who “Totally” believes in the Lord’s Prayer. If you’re that person, I’m looking for you.

 

Nothing has made me so poor and so rich at the same time than in my grasp for understanding the process of learning the wealth of the Lord's prayer.

 

Last Sunday I was the last person leaving the church parking lot. Everybody was gone and in hunger and thirst for the things of God I asked the Lord: “Talk to me papa.” and he gave me the following verse,

 

“If we say we live in God, we must live the way Jesus lived.” 1John 2:6.

 

And there it was, in an instant I was convicted by the tendency I have to be dependent on people, therefore dependent on my mentors, therefore an idolater.

At the same time, I was strongly convinced that the secret of life is in the full dependence upon God who will keep me from the world, the devil, the flesh, loneliness and other illnesses proper for a man of my age.

 

Jesus wanted Peter James and John to be in the circle of his close friends for fellowship and prayer, but they could not last even one hour with Jesus in prayer.

 

Jesus confronted all his ordeals alone. Actually, never alone, because the father was with him and he was with the father at all times. You are created by God for God himself. To be loved.

PS. Confidentially for those who care I want to share with you that either the Jaws of death are closing in on me or I am just too sick. In the last ten day I have lost weight and fluids. I am extremely weak and tired. I have lost appetite and sleep very little and constantly sweat overnight. But I have no fever or shortness of breath or headaches.  It is hard to read even with three glasses.

 

Several years ago, shortly after Ruthie died, I pledged to a longtime friend of mine that I will focus on Jesus and the Lords’ Prayer even if it kills me. (It might be happening). Please Pray the Lord’s prayer for me.
