Peace as answer to prayer.

 

‟May the Lord bless you and keep you.

  May the Lord smile down on you and show you his kindness.

  May the Lord answer your prayers and give you peace.” Numbers 6:24-26

 

It is amazing to know how God in his all-sovereign love and grace goes out of his way to speak to the needy as he only knows how to do it.

 

I had nothing left but to pray in utter weakness, frustration and pain.

 

Even my prayers were confined to moaning and groaning so that if I were God I would not dignify it by listening to such a crybaby.

 

But the lover of my soul does not only keep his eyes over the Righteous and his ears attentive to his feeble prayer.

 

Instead of giving a cold shoulder to my Lousy prayer and ignoring them until I Learn to pray properly…. He takes the initiative to pray for me and send his all to familiar benediction that wonderfully starts with the words….‟MAY THE LORD BLESS YOU…”

 

Who is there to stop such a blessing?

 

Until today I did not notice that the Peace my soul longs for is the answer to prayer …but prayer that is rooted in his unilateral benediction.

 

Oh how I love Jesus.

Wiping my tears with the only hand that works I choose to be sad and overwhelmed tomorrow but not today.

Yes!!!!

 

“May the Lord answer your prayers and give you peace.”

 

Join your prayer on my behalf to the strong prayers of God as in my weakness have decided to go back to the Andes mountains to teach my people to die.

 

Until together we see death as gain.

 

May Peace be ours as the answer to prayers.
