Gerry Gutierrez' Update

Thought provoking words for some of Jesus' little ones.

God’s allowances to a co-heir with Jesus yet homeless on earth.

God allowed tears to show one another the extent of your grief.

God allowed pain as a loudspeaker of his voice and intentions for you.

God allowed death to exist so you might learn to love Life in Jesus.

God allowed separation so you might treasure Fellowship.

God allowed oneness so you might hate the loneliness of hell.

God allowed men to come from babies and learn to long for childhood.

God allowed the poor so you can be like God to the needy.

God allowed angels to fall so you might never think of you as too strong.

God allowed suffering at old age as a sign and confidence of his trust.

God allowed you to make him visible and alive before men.

God allowed you to be something knowing well you were nothing.

God allowed men to enter the gates of heaven while they deserved hell.

God allowed the killer of giants, lions and bears to run from women.

God allowed hail that killed the cows but preserved the dandelions.

God allowed the rich go empty-handed but the poor went satisfied.

PS. The sole idea of thinking about you my beloved friend has led me to write these words in the hope of being an encouragement in your life as a blessing.

I pray for you by joining my feeble prayers to the strong ones of Jesus who so loved you and intercedes for you at the right hand of the father.

This letter is to a handful of friends for whom I pray often, and I love to hear from them often. Here is a little "Texting" for you beautiful people.

Your Gerry with a "G".

Pictures are from yesterday where we went at Nathaniel's invitation to watch

Top Gun or Maverick. It was fun to have burgers afterwards.

Thank you for the suggestion to go and see it with my boys.
