God’s “PERFECT” plan.

What is the beauty of Romans 8:28?

The congregation usually answers that “all things work together for good…”

The real beauty of this passage is not “That all things work together for good to them that love God, but that “we know” that all things work together for them that love God.”

“You shall know the truth and the truth will set you free.”

To state a fact, is not as important as personally and intimately knowing the fact.

This means that believing the fact is to be one with that fact.

It is not fate that governs the world but a perfect plan of a personal God who has chosen us in love. “We know that in everything God works for the good of those who love him. These are the people God chose, because that was his plan.” Romans 8:28.

Since everything that comes to pass works out for the good in our lives, we need to emphasize that this is so because it is the perfect plan of God who has chosen us lovingly from eternity to eternity. We must not overlook the fact that it is perfect and it is perfect because it is God’s plan.

God is unchangeable and beautiful. He has predestined everything in its minimum detail from which nothing can separate us from the love of God that’s in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Rejoice little lamb. Rejoice Little Flock. Rejoice oh congregation of the Saints separated by God for himself. We are made by God and for God. “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.” Hebrews 13:8

It will remain so forever because God changes not.

Morning by morning New mercies we see.

Great is the faithfulness of our Lord and savior.

Strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow…all I have needed thy hand has provided…your blessings are mine with 10,000 beside. Yes, blessed assurance Jesus is mine. Perfectly mine as if no one else existed for him.

And yet God loves every one of his own in the same way and that is because he can and that’s because he is God who is able to love perfectly and eternally to the glory of his own name.

I am saved because of his unchangeable perfection and great faithfulness of the Lord our Savior. Rest assured because God is not an Indian giver.
