You belong to God not as your pen belongs to you

but as your hand belongs to you.

Gerry is the property of God purchased by Jesus.

You might be surprised to know that I am a gift to God purchased by Jesus.

“For God so loved the world that whosoever believed in him might never perish but have everlasting life.”

This is the kingdom of God by the will of God in the power of God who saves, therefore the honor and glory of God forever and ever amen.

Should we for the sake of argument divide the visible from the invisible and the temporal from the eternal it would be easier to establish who is the boss and who is the ever-dependent servant.

In that case, the visible and created world would be the entire responsibility of God and under the total sovereignty of God therefore under control without any exception with certain immutability and unchangeably predestination in all its minimum detail.

In a universe where God is the complete sovereign, it is also easier to presume complete responsibility to him. God as the complete Landlord and Lord of all the Land guarantees the destiny of his “property” and the concept of losing any part of God’s property becomes not only impossible but also inconceivable.

If God is perfect, then his plans must be perfect and the unfolding of his plan will also be exactly perfect and more precise than an atomic clock. On the other hand, if God is not perfect, then God is an improviser. He never knew what he was doing from the beginning, therefore there was no plan or perfection involved, no predestination involved. As ridiculous as it might sound, “No body plus nothing is equal to everything” so that is the only option which is no option at all.

But to the glory of God this does not fit with the character and attributes of God.

God as the Father and as the only Sovereign creator of all things is the most important doctrine of all. It presents God not only as the blessed controller of all things but the controller of every step of his perfect unfailing plan unfolding perfectly from beginning to end. “Yours is the Kingdom, yours is the power to save, therefore yours is the glory for ever and ever amen.”

Gerry as the sheep of the Psalm 23 belongs to God his shepherd and owner. As property of God, Gerry is doomed to a secure eternal destiny and salvation.

A word to the enemies of God and my enemies. Lately you have taken advantage of my old age and sickness by asking God to sift me like wheat, but Jesus and the saints have protected me through prayer. The following pictures are my badges of honor and my credibility as a witness of Jesus. (You should have seen the other guy.)

PS. My regular illness cannot cut short my life. Nasty Coved 19 tried hard to kill me and recently an ugly fall and broken bone has left all four of my extremities in bandages making me a regular visitor to the ER. All I can say is “What a way of witnessing Jesus.” Unplanned by me but planned by my God and Father in Heaven.
