The joy of fatherhood in parenting.

 

The love of my children for Jesus is twice sweeter to me than if they would only love me. I would rather have their hate than their love without loving Jesus.

 

I love my children dearly and weep in deep love for wisdom to raise them right.

There are those who think they know how to raise children, but unless they love their children second only to Jesus they are not credible to me.

 

In fatherhood, a man can only be a successful Father when his children love the Jesus just as much as he does or even more.

 

On the other hand, a man is only credible in his love of God when he loves as Abraham loved God and was willing to sacrifice his one and only son for God.

 

You might ask, “Where did Abraham, a pagan man from Ur of the Chaldeans, learn to love the right God and his son?” By Faith and conversion from “Our Father who art in Heaven.”

 

“FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD THAT HE GAVE HIS ONE AND ONLY SON THAT WHOSOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM MIGHT NOT PERISH BUT HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE.”

 

“God is love.”

 

You might have already noticed that as soon as the Pandemic seems to subside and the hope of vaccine arrives, our society, like in a stampede of stubborn mules, has unleashed its behavior as if some has left the gates open.

 

All you have to do is turn on your TV set in one of your sleepless nights and see how wickedness flourishes in the cover of the evening darkness.

 

But before you jump to conclusions, and exercise your right to judge, let me tell you that it is not Sodom and Gomorrah resurrected but the awakening of the giant from their year-long nap to his usual nightlife.

 

In other words, it is not a New Thing but the same all evil and wickedness that can only be defined as the “ABSENCE OF LOVE FOR GOD THE FATHER.”

 

It is like darkness, which is absence of light, rather than invasion of new darkness. Neither is it like a cold which is absent of heat, rather than new winter cold fronts.

 

All this is to say that more than removing darkness as garbage from the streets, what the world needs is Jesus the light from God who came on Christmas night just over two thousand years ago to PREVAIL IN THE DARKNESS.

 

What we need is not less darkness but more light because only light prevails in the darkness and darkness never will understand light.

 

Do not seek a marriage of light and darkness. It has never worked in the past and it will never work today or in the future.

 

A New Year is a good time to stop being “Simple” which means “Open.” A “Simple” man or an “Open” man is one who thinks to have options and can walk down the street looking at both sides of the street where “Pretty Folly” and “Beautiful Wisdom” live on opposite sides of the street.

 

For the lovers of God as for fish, dry land is not an option but sure death.

 

In the same way light is for the wise as water is for the fish.

How could anyone in his right mind consider a virtue to be of “Open or simple”?

 

The road to Calvary leads to a fork on the road. Only Jesus took the middle road to the cross and resurrection.

 

If you believe in options, choose this day which road to take. Life with Jesus or death without Jesus.

 

This is not much of a choice unless the pursuit of happiness in your own terms is your ultimate goal in life.

 

Thank God that the elect does not have a choice because he or she has been already chosen before the foundation of the world.

 

As adopted children in Jesus you have not been stuck in the mud of an orphanage but have been elected, and adopted, chosen in love by the Son of God in Jesus, our Lord, our brother and friend, and co-inheritors of the kingdom of light.

 

This was an amateur toddler and lover of God on duty.
