Writing while the body wastes away.

 

Dear Family and friends, this is also a health update.

 

Yesterday it was confirmed that I am in stage five Kidney Failure and we should start Dialysis soon. In a time when the demand for prayer must have caused prayer fatigue, I hate to add my name to your list of prayers. I do so in the conviction of being responsible for myself before God because I am not a private person but a public property or a “GI” of the Lord’s army to whom we belong together in Jesus.

“I don’t answer questions.”

 

This morning I am in the mood to reopen some open and shut cases. There was a time in my life that I wanted to be a lawyer. At that time, it was the cause of the poor that occupied my mind. Later it was the case of the loss that captured my heart. Now that I think with my heart is when I want to open the case of our first parents to see if I can in my appeal and retrial of their case help more effectively the generations yet to come.

 

Adam and Eve together had the will of God for their lives.

This fact alone puts them in equal footing before God. “Ignorance will not be an excuse.” In the usage of life or time there seems to indicate that “Window shopping” is the oldest profession that mother Eve enjoyed very much by looking around in the “Rodeo Drive at the Apple store” of Eden.

 

The presence of Adam is not conclusive when the dialogue of the Serpent and Eve started. But the absence of Jesus the advocate from God is real. “Oh! How late did the Miranda Rights come to mother Eve.”

 

“YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO REMAIN SILENT FOR ANYTHING YOU SAY CAN AND SHALL BE USED AGAINST YOU IN THE COURT OF LAW.

YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO HAVE A LAWYER PRESENT AND IF YOU CANNOT AFFORD ONE THE COURT WILL PROVIDE ONE.” DO YOU UNDERSTAND YOUR RIGHTS?

 

As a lawyer already gifted with the advice of History, I say to the children of Eve to answer; “I don’t answer questions.” Better yet, “I do not answer questions without my lawyer present.” At this point I should rest my case and say I have no more questions about the situation your honor.

 

But for the sake of the little children of the kingdom, let me spell a few facts that otherwise the Lord will hold me accountable.

 Do not talk to strangers.

Do not go near temptation but flee from it.

Walk with the love of your life and be at all times under and at the same time provide their protective custody.

Above all never go anywhere without Jesus the advocate of God who has equipped us with the personal counselor in the Holy Spirit.

 

Remember that a busy soul has time only to fight with one devil at the time but an idle soul fights legions of demons. Work the good work of testifying about Jesus and the safety of light will chase away the powers of darkness. Stop making excuses because God has spoken his will clearly. Choose to obey God at all cost and the love of God in Christ Jesus will be yours abundantly and always.
