Resisting the Truth.

“Resisting the truth.”

 

Authority is from God and as such it’s the foundation of Law and order in society.

 

Adam and Eve found it hard to submit themselves to the vertical authority of God and resisted it to their own disgrace.

 

How much more will a man find it very difficult to submit himself to another human being in his horizontal relationships?

 

In an age where everyone asks, “Am I detained or am I free to go.”

The most important desire in my pursuit of happiness is “Freedom.”

 

How could a man who does not fear God be able to fear his fellow man?

For that matter, how could a man love and obey God who he has not seen when he cannot love or obey men who he has seen? Obedience is the criteria of real love. Jesus said, “The reason why my Father loves me is because I obey his commands. 

 

To resist the truth is to resist Jesus because the truth is a person and that person is Jesus. Scriptures urge men to resist the devil and then he will flee from us.

 

Remember that Sin is like water that seeks the path of less resistance.

 

Resist falsehood but yield to the truth.
