Repeat after Jesus

“Our Father in Heaven”

“Your will be done.”

 

●   God shall fund the work of those who will do his will.

●   God’s resources are behind our capacity to spend.

●   The world and everything on it belong to God.

●   He who dressed a flower shall dress you.

●   Remember, not even Solomon blessed like that.

●   He keeps the bird well fed while it sings his praises.

●   He has promised, “Open your mouth wide and I will fill it.”

●   The servant of God should always say, “I lack nothing.”

●   Mammon makes people extremely wealthy.

●   God makes people utterly satisfied and content.

 

When two or three people get together to build a wall around themselves to protect themselves…

●   The mason is not more than the one who bundles the bricks or the one who mixes the mortar.

●   If we are with God building his kingdom by virtue of the fact that he is our Father in Heaven, his kingdom is ours as well.

 

To ask anything is just Kingdom talk.

To pray is just to talk “family talk” about that which the rest are thinking about.

Prayer according to God’s will binds us together as we are bound together in God.

 

Therefore, the language of the Lord’s Prayer is unique.

It is not about you convincing God of your will.

It is not God imposing his will upon you.

It is the strange and mysterious dialogue among equals who are not equal but one in Jesus in spite of and because of all.

 

This is the teaching elder on duty in matters of Prayer.
