More than the infinite and the eternal

I just want to understand prayer

 

Most of my life I just wanted to believe in God and understand prayer and be able to walk together with someone who believed the same thing the same way.

Since the Kingdom of God is not a matter of words but power, the source of power is prayer.

We can safely and boldly say that prayer “is it.” The rest is part “of it.”

We will never over emphasize the importance of prayer. Jesus spent all of his “free time” in prayer.

Prayer as agreeing with God was the ‘bloodline’ of Jesus to his Father.

The fellowship of Jesus with his Father was vital to him. Oneness, fellowship, and perfect communion should always be spoken in the same breath.

The longing for oneness in the Godhead is as old as eternity. If a word can be chosen to join these concepts together, it would be love.

Love cannot live without harmonious fellowship and communion in unity among the parties involved.

What made the Garden of Eden the Paradise of God was the sweet fellowship between God with his beloved children Adam and Eve at the breeze of the afternoon in the Playpen of Jesus. 

The greatest tragedy ever recorded was when the will of man came to disagree with the will of God. Then the harmonious fellowship and communion was destroyed.

As vast as the universe may be, there is room but for one will and that is God’s will. The restoration of unity is the result of the work of Jesus in the cross and prayer, where a man agrees with God as a son agrees with this Father whom he loves.

This is the teaching elder on duty in matters of Prayer.
