Repeat after Jesus:

“Our Father in Heaven.”

 

Among those who sanctified your name and are waiting for your kingdom to come, it is a delight to do and to long for your will to be done on earth as it is done in Heaven.

How could it not be so when you are the source of love and of all good, pure, perfect, convenient, beautiful, wonderful and excellent things?

It is with great joy that we lift our heart and minds in ecstasy and great delight, more secure in your will than in the best of our own choices.

We thank you Father in Heaven that for us there is no such thing as a reluctant resignation to accept your will, only the most blessed option purchased by our Lord Jesus upon the Cross of Calvary where you loved us with an everlasting love.

We know beyond any shadow of doubt that in our lives your will be done as it is done in Heaven. It cannot be any other way for us because everything is summed up in the words you taught us to say, “Our Father who art in Heaven.” And that is what we are; we are your children, dear God.

We are sons of God, missionaries of God, soldiers of God, servants of the Most High God.

There has not been a soldier who has had his own will but the will of him who sent him.

Our Father who art in Heaven.
