Prayer as oneness

Prayer is above all, oneness with God. Albert Einstein said, “If you cannot explain it in a few words, you have not understood it yourself.”

One cannot be more clear or short as to say that prayer “is oneness with God.”

Let us appeal to the name, nature, person and attributes of God to make this point:

“Hallowed be your name” means:

“Sanctified be thy name” or

“Blessed be thy name” or

“Revered be thy name” or

“Praised be thy name” or

“Worshipped be thy name” or

“Feared be thy name” or

“Recognized be thy name” or

“Acknowledged be thy name” or

“Adored be thy name” or

“Glorified be thy name” or

“Loved be thy name” or

“Trusted be thy name” or

“Believed be thy name” or

“Holy be your name” or

“Deified be your name” or

“Consecrated be your name” or

“Respected be your name” or

“Sacred be your name”

The Name of God must be loved with all our heart, soul, strength, and mind for he alone is the Great I AM THAT I AM.
