Repeat after Jesus

“Our Father who art in heaven.”

“Forgive our sins as we forgive those who sin against us.”

 

One of the things that mankind finds hard to recognize is their condition of sinfulness and their need to be forgiven by a holy, perfect and pure God.

 

Men finds it difficult to accept responsibility for their acts of disobedience.

 

Just as when confronted by God, Adam blamed Eve and Eve blamed the serpent, so we all blame others and refuse to repent and beg for forgiveness.

 

But it is the revealed and perfect will of God for men to be meek and humble.

 

God will give every opportunity to you to humble yourself before God in repentance for the forgiveness of sins.

 

Should a man choose not to humble himself, then God will use every means within his power to humiliate him until by the work of his grace the man becomes truly meek and humble like Jesus through the forgiveness which is in Jesus and in no other.

 

There are two ways to become humble and meek like Jesus. We either humble ourselves or we will be completely humiliated. Only the humble will inherit the Kingdom of God.

 

This is the teaching elder on duty in matters of Prayer.
