THIS THEN IS HOW YOU SHOULD PRAY,

“OUR FATHER IN HEAVEN”

 

If God is your father, then there is someone who loves you and wants to answer your every prayer and fulfill your every need. It is just like an earthly father who loves to provide for his children, only it is much better and more abundantly, so that you can say, “I lack nothing.”

 

No earthly father gives to his children a snake when they ask him for a fish, or a stone when they ask him for bread. How much more our Father in Heaven, who is holy and perfect and good, generous, mercy-FULL, and compassionate will give the Holy Spirit to those who ask for Him.

 

Never forget that Our Father in Heaven not only loves you, but HE IS LOVE and knows your needs even before you ask.

 

We are under command to ask God in Heaven.

We are in disobedience when we do not ask.

Prayer is the desire of God; 

Prayer is the will of God.

Prayer is the longing of God for His children.

Prayer is the bridge of connectivity between God and His children.

 

Prayers must be offered in the name of Jesus alone to

Our Father who art in Heaven. # 70.

 

This is the teaching elder on duty in matters of Prayer.
