REPEAT AFTER JESUS,

“OUR FATHER WHO ART IN HEAVEN.”

Should one pray or not pray?

Prayer itself is not the issue here.

The need to communicate with God is a part of every religion.

The question is not whether to pray or not.

The question is powerlessness in our prayer life.

The question is the lack of answer to prayer.

The question is that the lack of prayer can kill faith. 

The question is that prayer can increase faith. 

The question is that prayer and faith cannot live without each other.

To pray or not to pray is not the question.

 

The question is how to pray not what to pray.

That is why the words of Our Lord Jesus when he instituted prayer began with the imperative.

 

Jesus said, “This then is how you should pray.” The word “this” refers, without a doubt, to the content, the theology, the anthropology, the soteriology, the ecclesiology, and the eschatology of Scripture, containing all that we need to know and to focus upon in and for our lives with God in prayer.

 

Prayer itself as taught by Jesus will put man’s mind and will in harmony with God’s mind and will.

 

Prayer is not an option. Prayer is everything! # 62
