Sunday Food for thought from my heart to your heart in the name of Jesus.

 

“The reason to Vote is more important than voting.”

 

To vote is an act of agreement. 

The miss-use of agreement is the root of the unforgivable.

“Society is an invention of God”.

 

It was the initiative of God to put together two different individuals “male and female” and called them “man” to walk together as one in the unity of love and in agreement under the Word and Will of God.

Therefore, male alone is not man, female alone is not man.

“Man” is “male” and “female”.

 

The fruit of this blessed agreement of love is the children.

The Power of the loving agreement of Adam and Eve was manifested in their life of alignment with God. While they dwell in love and obedience to the word of God, the Will of Adam and Eve and the will of God the Father was one and the same thing.

“That was Heavenly.”

 

Eve was created from the rib of Adam and later they became one flesh as male and female. This unity was not as “one” as the oneness of a child who dwells as a seed in his father’s loins.

 

Let us consider for a moment the matter of adultery. Adultery is more than an illicit act in the flesh. Adultery is a matter of the heart, when a word given in total agreement is broken. It is the trust which is broken.

 

By the way, a broken word cannot be welded except by the intervention of the greater “Word” that put them together in the first place and that is Jesus the creator of marriage by forgiveness at a great price.

 

When Adam received from Eve the forbidden fruit, he was agreeing with the will of Eve and at the same time he disagreed with God. Then together they fell from the blessedness of a life in alignment and oneness with God. Up to that point “Life was a Prayer.”

 

Just like the power of Prayer resides in the agreement with God and alignment with the will and word of God. In the same way the powerlessness of prayer is in the disagreement with God and the loss of alignment with the will of God revealed in the word of God.

 

Ananias and Saphira were a husband and a wife who agreed together to sin and were killed immediately for lying to the Holy Spirit.

 

When a husband and a wife who are supposed to be the guardians of each other's' soul agree to sin; the marriage which is the oneness of two becomes non-existent.

 

It might even be understandable that a wife and a husband by mutual dissent terminate their marriage becoming dysfunctional in a plot to lie. After all, his upbringing and her upbringing might have been totally different so that oneness was too much to achieve.

 

What about the oneness of a Father and a son?

The excuse of being from different tribes does not work. A father and a son were once “one” and the same thing; one in the other’s loins.

 

When a Father plots to commit a crime with his Son, the crime is and should be considered more heinous than two strangers agreeing to steel food out of hunger.

 

What hope is there for posterity if the unity and agreement of Father and Son is miss-used in a plot to lie together?

A godly family is placed by God in society to model the Godhead.

 

Prominent families are placed as Stewards of power and authority.

If a man lacks love and wisdom to lead his own family in the way they should go, this man cannot and should not be trusted with civil power and authority. He who is not able to provide for his own family, will not provide for others the much needed daily bread of the light of God.

 

He who is not faithful in little will not be faithful in much.

He who does not gather with Jesus, scatters without Jesus.

 

It is not enough to like or dislike a candidate in order to vote for or against that candidate. The reason to Vote is more important than the act of voting.

It is the same with Prayer, to believe in prayer is more important than the act of praying. The prophetic message demands that we state the reason for our decisions clearly.

 

Elijah the prophet along with the people of Israel faced a life-threatening Pandemic in the form of a drought for which there was no escape. On top of that he faced aggressive religious opposition from the false prophets of Baal in great numbers.

 

As if that was not enough, Elijah had a strong and power thirsty woman who hated him personally and her name was Jezebel.

It is interesting to notice that Elijah was not afraid of hundreds of male prophets but one wicked woman made him run for his life.

 

It is also interesting to notice that Elijah felt very lonely as if he was the only prophet left in Israel. God himself in his infinite love and patience confirmed to Elijah that there were other faithful servants and that he was not alone.

 

It is also amazing to notice as in the case of Jesus that at the end of his life he was abandoned by all those brave followers, but there was a small group of women that were with him at the foot of the cross. Some say that women are more faithful than men to the cause of the master.

 

Let us take a look at those Ladies of our lifetime. Like in the case of the great man of today. The wife knows him better than anyone in every way and can even claim that on the shoulder of their husbands to see a little bit farther than their husbands.

 

From that point of advantage, plus the capacity to see the back of their husband, a wife is in position to counsel her husband as the Holy Spirit is in position to counsel us and help us. The Holy Spirit does not have an agenda of his own but does all to the glory of God and the blessing of the believer.

I encourage Elijah's of our time to claim the pulpits of today to lift the prophetic voice while there is time so we don’t find ourselves later as someone said: “Cleaning up the mess in aisle four.”

 

Dear Preachers of the Gospel of Jesus, the pulpit leads the world and not the other way around.

 

All we need to do is to be willing to make a fool of ourselves for Jesus and he will do the rest for us, through us and in spite of us.

 

If your fellow believer has stopped encouraging you so that you feel alone, remember those women at the foot of the cross of Jesus. There are many like them following in silence and submission to Jesus because they have found in him “The love of their lives.”

 

Remember that precious beautiful widow of Sarepta in Elijah’s time that had the vision to care for a hungry lonely prophet.

Be brave for her sake for those who have invested and inspired you and your ministry of service in agreement with you.

 

I will close this letter making an effort to sound politically correct by not saying for whom you should Vote. But I will ask you along with Franklin Graham...VOTE!!!

 

Consider the candidates and their wives and their choice of running mates and ask yourself if you would be willing to go to war with either of them. Consider also their children, for the acorn doesn't fall far from the oak tree.

 

Lastly, pay no attention to the noise of the false prophets but rather pray, as you have never prayed before. Pray for your candidate and participate in the joy of tilting the scale by praying in Jesus name.

 

Tomorrow is my legendary wife's Birthday and I am going to celebrate her by making public the “Yes Jesus” book on prayer.

This book is only a few thought-provoking notes on Prayer and Praying. The basic premise is around the fact that Faith is equal to Prayer under the Word and Will of God. F=PW2.

 

I am not an author of books. I just write because I am prompted to write. I see myself like a chessman as opposed to a milkman.

I let others sell cow milk, goat milk, donkey’s milk or Camels Milk, low fat milk, half-half milk etc.

I just collect milk from everywhere and put it in the same container with some yeast until it is ready to be pressed and put to dry under the sun. I live under the motto that, “All truth is God’s truth no matter where it comes from.”

 

You will notice that I do not distract my readers by quoting where or who coined some thoughts as not to distract from the miracle of knowledge to the Saint who worked the miracle.

 

Since I do not intend to make money with my writings, I have been given freely and freely you should also receive it and use it.

 

I need no credit for anything I have written, but request credit for the Holy Spirit from whom I have received all that is worth keeping.
