Gerry Gutierrez' Update

Getting ready for Heaven by doing a little bit more than the next person.

The Impulsive power of the new affection.

Someone said, "how do you take the air from a glass?" Answer - By filling it with water.

The melancholy of abundance in faraway countries is only real when we forget the principle of equilibrium of our Sovereign Lord. He has evenly distributed love and grace in all his creation.

Some people like onions and garlic from Egypt while others love milk and honey in the Promised Land. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of the Lord than in the palace of the wicked.

My single ambition is to love and enjoy the presence of the Lord Jesus every day in the playpen of heaven in the cool of the day as I vividly remember when I was in the loins of Adam and Eve.

In order to make a smooth transition from this life to the next, I wake up very early in the morning, long before anyone is up, to chirp in prayer and meditation as to catch the worm before anyone beats me to the draw.

I compete with myself by making rules in spirit and truth to believe a little bit more than the next follower of Jesus. That is to love a little bit more than the next believer, to work a little bit more than the next servant of the Lord, and to push myself a little bit more than the next runner of Jesus.

If you are already asking of me: What are you talking about? I would answer: “It is the daily impulsive power of my new affection for Jesus as in intimacy I get to know him more and more.”

You might say, “You sound like a rapper.” I say, This life beats rapping!!

If my mind is not full of Jesus, the demon that used to live within me before Jesus entered my heart, will return with many other friends and my situation will be worse than ever before. An unoccupied mind is fertile ground for the weed and tares to prosper.

There is no such a thing as an empty glass. A glass is full of air until water is poured into it and the water replaces air as it fills the cup.

Jesus has cast demons and evil thoughts out of my mind at my rebirth.

My heart and mind are happily occupied with Jesus. I have no time to think in terms like the garlic and onions of Egypt but for the Milk and honey in the Promised Land.

For many years the fear of death has kept me in slavery on the other side of the Red Sea, there far from the Jordan River, “Recalculating” in the desert of fruitlessness until the feet of my wife crossed the Jordan as on dry ground.

My recent courage can be traced to the belief that in Jesus I am by grace beyond the gates of hell and ever so close to the Pearly Gates far from the devil’s reach.

I long for Heaven where Jesus and my loved ones are. However, since there is no service in Heaven, I am thankful and extremely grateful for the opportunity to serve those who Jesus loves and died for.

The principle of equilibrium from God reigns on earth where I still have the opportunity to love and to serve the elect because in Heaven I will have perfect rest that by far is better for me. But again, for the sake of the elect I do want to stay a little longer to make the Joy of Jesus complete.

Death is gain. Death is pay-back time. I would feel more than paid by just dwelling in the presence of Jesus forever.

This was a “Rapper of Jesus” on duty.

PS. It is of imperative necessity for us all to pray without exception before November the third. To accept the will of God is not a matter of hopeless resignation but of great excitement to look forward and rejoice in the fact that our God does all things well. Nothing is like prayer to prepare you what is yet to come.  “Yes Jesus.”
