Now Let us pray. "Yes Jesus." # 4.

 

“Our father in heaven”

 

If my very first words of the day lead me to think of myself as a Son of God; then my frame of mind is totally different from the mind of those who get up in the morning and start the day looking at the clock and let "Cronus on Earth" run their lives on earth. 

 

If I take God at His word and greet Him, “Good morning my Father in heaven," then my whole body becomes my ears to hear what from heaven is the sweetest answer, that my heart, soul, strength, and mind does not only “hear,” but is fed and invigorated.  

 

When I greet my Father in heaven on bended knees and bowed head, the eyes of my faith become sight so that I finally lift up my head toward heaven to see and hear. It is as a child looking at his Father not only to hear His equivalent words of blessing, which is bound to happen, but what he so eagerly seeks is to see His loving smile which was the last thing he saw the night before. 

 

In times of crisis such as now, my needs are for the wink of his eyes. Then I understand that without the Holy Spirit and Prayer it is impossible to communicate to others.

 

Is there any other reason to wake up and get up in the morning?  I think not. “Yes Jesus,” is the only Prayer worth God’s ears and it is concealed in the Lord’s Prayer.

 

Our Father in Heaven has all the time in the World to wait for our “Yes Jesus.” We have only one short life and soon to be past. Only what is done in Jesus will last. Jesus as our bride groom has already say “Yes” before God the Father. It is time for us his bride to say “Yes to Jesus.”
