Gerry Gutierrez' Update

The present and the end depends from the beginning.

The mind of Jesus for 2020.

No one will fully understand Jesus and prayer unless we go back to the bedrock of Genesis to the barefoot days before the thorns and bristles were born and long before the fall.

Prince Adam was given the noble task to name the animals according to its kind.

It is easy to imagine that Adam had no formal education, let alone specialized knowledge of Zoology or Botany.

It is equally easy to imagine that Adam had the mind of Jesus through prayer and agreement at saying to King Jesus, “Amen” or “Yes Jesus” to all things as Jesus originally named them introducing proudly his beautiful creation to his Son Adam.

Adam was a true “Tabula rasa” [blank slate] that would like a dry sponge to absorb all things that came out of the mouth of God.

Let me point out also that as a learner from God, Adam had no competing ideas, thoughts or words. Neither did Adam lack intelligence to learn it all as a recorder without discriminating against anything or needing a filter to retain the good and rejecting evil. No darkness clouded the mind of Prince Adam because he walked with the light of heaven where there is no darkness at all.

“Those were the days where all ground was holy ground.”

Those days were so much fun to go to school more for the teacher than the content of education. In quietness and confidence Adam would rest in naps at any time.

Work in those days was so much fun that a man had no need to toil or eat with the sweat of his brow. Literally life was a constant prayer where man’s contribution to prayer was to say, “Amen or Yes Jesus.” After all, all things are “yes” in Jesus.

There was no need for dialog because where agreement reigns there is no need for dialog except for “Amen or Yes Jesus.” If there was ever oneness of the kind of oneness of which the trinityis the example, those were the days in the Garden at the cool of the day. You must long for heaven and desire to go back to Paradise.

Let me tell you gently, that in comparison with the Garden at the cool of the day and the future return to the garden, “Life after the fall is a nightmare.”

Let us long together to wake up in Jesus and say in clean conscience that “To us, to live is Christ and to die is gain.”

Until we truly long for heaven, this verse is at best a wishful thinking of some sort of a pie in the sky when we die.”

Where are your treasures?

Where your treasures are, there your heart will also be.

Who is precious to you above all things?

Notice that the question is not, “What is your treasure?”

But who?

Not even lifeless diamonds with its entire shining sparks is a worthy companion for eternal life.

As precious as is the Good News of the Gospel, let us never ever forget that the Gospel of God is a person and that is Jesus the King. “Yes Jesus”.

“Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” “Yes Jesus”.

Might the mind of Jesus reign in our minds today more than ever before as we say with all your heart “Yes, Jesus.”
