Gerry Gutierrez' Update

Short article # 20 of "Yes Jesus" book on prayer.

“This, then, is how you should pray”

“Our Father who art in Heaven” # 20.

As the heavens are higher than the Earth so is God greater than men on earth. But God has adopted us in Christ so that we can become children of God and that is what we are in Jesus. Once a creature, now children forever, predestined and chosen before the foundation of the world with a sure election in the Son.

Condemned to be saved.

Sentenced to Eternal Life.

To share the supernatural life of God

As children of “Our father who art in heaven.”

If God's children: then eternal.

If eternal: then without beginning.

If without beginning: then without end.

If without beginning or end: then in God.

We are God's breath who are inhabited for a time in a body of clay.

The breath of God at death goes back to God from where it came.

And the body goes back to the dust from where it was taken.

Ashes to ashes, dust to dust, the Lord gives and the Lord takes it away

May the name of the Lord Our Father in Heaven be worshiped.

“Our Father who art in heaven.”
