Gerry Gutierrez' Update
A Short Christmas salutation to you my friends.
Jesus in swaddling clothes was a sign from God.
Yes, a gift wrapped in swaddling clothes. That will be a sign from God to those on whom his favor rests. The favor of the Lord found Mary not the other way around. By grace you are saved through faith and this not of yourself for it is the gift of God.
Do not let the wrapping of the gift fool you. Jesus looked very poor but had gold, incense and myrrh that smelled good.
Silent but glorious night ...was the night Jesus was born. Jesus, the light of God, came to prevail in the darkness of my mind and light up this little light of mine so that like a candle I will let it shine.
I am alone but I do not feel alone. The star of Bethlehem has shown in the caverns of my heart so that I am not nor will I ever be alone and in darkness again. Thank you, Holy gentle and mild child of God.
In meekness you have conquered my heart. I bless you with all my heart, soul, and strength and mind my Lord. Help yourself from me as I am yours, as I was of the Father who gave me to Jesus and Jesus who gave me to the Holy Spirit. For these reasons tonight after the service lead by my own once tender and mild Son in Tacoma I can scream the following in worship. “I WAS NEVER MY OWN, I was yours, I am yours and I will always be yours.”
I belong to Jesus. Thank you, Jesus!
Merry Christmas.
Gerry Gutierrez.
