Gerry Gutierrez' Update

Happy Birthday Jesus!!

This Christmas season I will go to the other side of Lookout Mountains on Monday night with my granddaughter Deborah to gaze together at the Start of Bethlehem as Jupiter and Saturn line up together in agreement once again every 800 years.

I will tell Deborah of how the wise men still look up to the stars in search of God in Baby Jesus. I will claim the immense Universe is the handiwork of God and speak about the Gigantic Jupiter and Saturn as obedient servants of God to lead wise people unto Jesus. I will also speak of the distance that wise men travel searching for Jesus taking their gifts of Gold, incense and myrrh.

By so doing, these wise men witness who Jesus was.

In the same way the giants of the Solar system Jupiter and Saturn traveled in a big hurry to line up together in agreement so as one to shine better and to give us the Star of Bethlehem once again.

We will see Saturn and Neptune coming to the point of “kissing,” but they are actually about ten times as far apart as the Earth is away from the Sun.

Shepherds from the Field were also invited to the Birthday of Jesus and they became the witnesses of the birth of Jesus.

Angels from Heaven provided the musical background for the Birthday party.

Children must have felt welcome as the shepherds allowed them to pet the sheep.

All this is for a valid moment of witnessing about Jesus the baby of Bethlehem.

From now on we will never see the star of Christmas in the same way. We will see it as a witness of Jesus testifying about the Incarnation of God in Baby boy Jesus.

Go and testify about Jesus as did the Wise men from the East and the shepherds of the field along with the angels from heaven and the stars of heaven.

Be a star for Jesus. Testify because you are a witness of Jesus.

Gerry Gutierrez.

PS. This was the answer to the following letter of my friend Carl.

Gerry, what can we do to emphasize the spiritual aspect of Christmas in our home? This is what we will discuss tomorrow at 7AM. I hope many will be willing to give their thoughts and suggestions for the good of all our families.
