The advantage on focusing on Jesus plus nothing.

“Focusing on Jesus plus nothing. # 3.”

Since we are prompted to wander away from the God that we love, focusing on Jesus is as necessary as being nailed with Jesus in oneness on the cross as well as in his glorious resurrection.

Jesus alone has assumed the responsibility for our salvation. Because Jesus alone can save, there is no one else able to save.
“Where the business is of everyone, the responsibility is to no one.”

Jesus says, “ I am the resurrection and the life, he who believes in me though he dies shall be alive.”

Jesus alone is the Lord of lords, King of kings and God of gods.
It is not only proper and right to recognize “Jesus plus nothing” as the fact that rules the universe; but not to do so is the greatest sin against self and family and humanity.

If you trust in something else apart from Jesus, then you are under the curse of the word of God that says, “Curse is the man who trusts in another man. Curse is the man whose confidence is in the flesh.”
“Only Jesus plus nothing” will keep you from heartbreak.

Our beautiful Lord Jesus knew before hand that in our own strength we would not be able to focus on “Jesus plus nothing.” Therefore he sent his Holy Spirit to help us, to comfort us, to guide us, to teach us, to counsel us and to remind us to claim the name of “Jesus plus nothing”.

A father does not give a snake to the son who asks for a fish or give a scorpion to a son who asks for an egg. “If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!”

Let us in the power of Prayer ask the Father for the Holy Spirit that will empower us to say, “Jesus plus nothing,” so help me God.

PS. She is our Carlo's daughter, one of our Orphans. She chose her dress and shoes on Saturday and came happily dressed up on Sunday to church. She loves Jesus plus nothing. She also loves me a little.
