“Jesus plus nothing # 2”

 

Why Jesus plus nothing? 

Because there is no one beside Jesus!! Jesus is our creator and anything else is a creation. Apart from Jesus you might seek but you will not find anyone who can save. Jesus “is” and there is no other.

 

Do you believe in miracles? Why don’t you pray for one?

Do you believe in answer to prayer? If so, then I will agree with you and pray with you and together we will see the invisible hand of God.

A needy and helpless believer, no matter how insignificant he might be, he has the arms of the Lord to run towards.

 

Proverbs 18:10 “ The name of Jehovah is a strong tower; the righteous runs into it, and is safe.”

 

During the time of Jesus, an argument started among the disciples as to which of them would be the greatest. Jesus knowing their thoughts took a little child and had him stand beside him. Then he said to them, “Whosoever welcomes this little child in my name welcomes me; and whoever welcomes me welcomes the one who sent me. For it is the one who is least among you all who is the greatest.”

 

Only those who believe in Jesus plus nothing as a child turn toward Jesus because there is no other to run toward but Jesus.

 

A child in an amusement park might stop laughing abruptly at the crashing sound of any accident, but his next reaction will be to run to his mother “plus nothing.” No matter how many caring voices a child might hear in time of crisis, he will ignore them all in exchange of mama’s voice and presence “plus nothing.”

 

Jesus plus nothing is the way God the Father wants for his children to be.

 

Not Jesus plus Mary!

Not Jesus plus Paul!

Not Jesus plus works!

Not Jesus plus Religion!

Not Jesus plus denomination!!

Not Jesus plus any saint or idol!!

Not Jesus plus any angel!!

Not Jesus plus the Bishop or the Pope!!

Not Jesus plus this book or that book!!

 

Jesus plus Nothing!!

Jesus alone can save!

Jesus alone is life!

Jesus alone is the Son of God.

Jesus is God, the Second person of the trinity.

Jesus is the name given to us through whom we can relate to God the Father.

 

Without Jesus there is no communion or communication with God the Father. Without Jesus there is no prayer or answer to prayer.

 

Jesus plus nothing equals “EVERYTHING.”

 

In a childlike confession I say that, “apart of Jesus I am utterly alone with no one to run toward.” Along with Oswald Chamber I say: “In the whole world there is no one for me but you Jesus, no one but you Jesus.” Come with me and let us run together to his loving and open arms and let his blessed pierced hands rest on us.

 

Before everything begun there was already Jesus the Word of God.

After everything is done including heaven and earth, all will pass away but the Word of God, Jesus, will remain forever.

 

“Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son, will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on him.”

Jesus plus nothing removes the wrath of God that is on every man.

Jesus, “plus nothing” is the hope of Glory.
