Gerry Gutierrez' Update

Back in the saddle thanks to your prayers.

“Jesus plus nothing.”

Lost in the forest? Follow the path of least resistance of the waters.

Never go up the hill because it will wear you out. People live in the valleys and near the water not in mountaintops.

If with someone one then do not separate from that one because at nightfall and cold you will need each other’s body heat. Talk and seek agreement for two are better than one. But where two or three are equally lost, agreement is not relevant nor advantageous but self-serving.

As the saying goes, “Down to Gehenna and up to heaven, he travels fastest is he who travels alone.”

Imagine yourself for a moment that you are alone in the infinite universe of God. No matter where you are, you will be in the center of the universe with the infinite before, behind, under, over and beside you.

If two or three who are with you are equally lost, there will be no advantage for any of you in your agreement and togetherness. Peter, James and John were lost and tired on the mountain of transfiguration. They were separated from Jesus just far enough that they had nowhere to go on their own but to fall sleep in their huddle three times over.

Nearness to Jesus does not count as much as oneness and unity of one with Jesus. When two or three agree with Jesus in oneness of will, there is not only a way out of this world to the Father in Jesus but Jesus himself is the WAY and there is no other “WAY.”

No matter in which direction you move without Jesus, you will be under the curse of the word that says: “There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death. ... The way of a fool is right in his own eyes, but a wise man listens to counsel. Proverbs. The matchless counsel of God is spoken by Jesus.

The beauty of walking with Jesus is that he himself is the WAY and he is also the only TRUTH (that is the Mind of God) that leads to LIFE as he alone also is the LIFE and the author of LIFE.

Jesus says: “I am the WAY, THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE, no one comes to the Father but by me.” Alleluia!!!

Have you perhaps wakened up from a dream where you were equally lost with two other individuals?

Are you perhaps feeling alone, lost like in the forest or the mountains and near nightfall?

Are you perhaps like Peter, James and John near Jesus but not one with Jesus and have fallen asleep tired and discouraged?

In that case and any other case the word of the Father from the cloud is for you: “You need Jesus” and this the word of God is for you, “This is my son, whom I love, in him I am well pleased, Listen to him!”

More than anything in the world our generation needs to “Listen to Jesus.” God the Father has no other message for this dying, lost and lonely world but to “Listen to Jesus.”

If in fears, doubts and uncertainties; know that there is certainty in the voice of our never changing God and Father in Heaven that says: “Listen to Jesus.” Yes, Jesus plus nothing!!!

There is great wisdom in focusing on Jesus. Many like Doug Coe were more than willing to live and died only to lift up Jesus plus nothing. My greatest ambition in life is to live long enough to be known as one who lifted up “Jesus plus nothing.”

Jesus alone is God in the flesh. God was in Jesus reconciling the world unto himself and he has entrusted to us the ministry of reconciliation. God begging/calling men through us to “come and let us reason together.”

The wisdom of agreement is not in the agreement itself with each other, but in the agreement with the mind of Jesus, which is the very will of God.

As the letter of a man is the revelation of what is in the mind of a man, so is Jesus the revelation of the mind of God.

Just as a discourse of a man is the revelation of the mind of a man, so is Jesus the discourse of God.

To listen to Jesus is to listen to God the Father. Therefore,

Listen to Jesus!

Listen to Jesus!

Listen to Jesus!

Let us please listen to “Jesus plus nothing.”
