Gerry Gutierrez' Update
"Hello Fresh" Food for thought for a month of a short Sabbatical. “Things too good to be true?” Introduction: While I have feedback from my
friends, “I will keep on writing.” I am under conviction to feed God’s servants
on time, “Who then is the faithful and wise
servant, whom the master has put in charge of the servants in his household to
give them their food at the proper time? It will be good for that servant whose
master finds him doing so when he returns.” Matthew 24:45,46. Please be
advised, I will be taking a short sabbatical the First of August when I will
turn 49 years of jubilee walking with the Lord Jesus. Please make room in your
pantry or refrigerators because I will send you this month plenty of food for
thought to last you the month of August. I have been
preparing your food ahead of time. In case you miss any, visit my
website, perugerry.com “FOR WOMEN WHO SIT IN WAIT FOR JESUS.” There are things
too good to be true. If we do not talk about them it is because we either do not
believe it or we doubt it and decide to live in guilty silence and shame for
lacking the childlike faith. “What are you
talking about?” you might ask. Matthew 27:50-56 At the death of
Jesus the whole of History and the world was altered. I am talking
about, “The dead walking alive,” as opposed to, “The walking dead” of Hollywood
which is the gross counterfeit designed to distract us and rob us of the
greatest preview of the resurrection from the dead by the power of God. At the death
of Jesus, the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. The
earth shook and the rocks split. The tombs broken open and the bodies of many
holy people who had died were raised to life. They came out of the tombs,
and after Jesus’ resurrection they went into the holy city and appeared to many
people. At the death of
Jesus, darkness cover the earth at noon day, the curtain was torn, the earth
shook, the rocks split, the tombs broke open, the deceased raised from the
death and “MANY WOMEN” were there, sitting and watching from a distance
but close enough to hear the Centurions testimony, “Surely he was
the son of God.” Thus witnessing
was born at the foot of the cross to never stop as long as there are those who
look after Jesus and watch near or at a distance the blessed Savior and Son of
God being lifted up on the cross. Think not about
how long those bodies were in the grave or how decomposed they were or any
skeletal gross appearance, just remember that they appeared to other people as
if they never died. There we are by
the grace of God ourselves as those who have been raised from death to life as
if we have never sinned thanks to Jesus. With your
permission and indulgence allow me to make a “strong statement” that we are
“The dead walking alive” in glorious bodies no longer affected by the decaying
effect of sin and death by the power of Jesus. If I might exploit
a little more the word picture, let me say that the world is full of
“dead people walking alive in Jesus” crossing paths with “The walking
real dead people of the evil in their sins and transgressions.” It is my prayer
and hope to encourage those women who are still sitting across the
tomb of Jesus to keep on witnessing. Beware my beautiful sisters,
your testimony will encounter resistance as the men of Samaria but it will all
be futile for He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. Nevertheless, you
will live long enough to hear “the Samaritans say” ”We no longer
believe because of your words but because we ourselves have heard him.” Never mind, but
if it were not from you they would have not heard in the first place. As
the angel said to Mary I say to you most favored of God, “Just keep making
the Son of God visible, only this time by giving birth to Jesus by your
testimony.” Happy “delivery” to you my
beautiful friends. Bear in mind that
the things too good to be true are that dead people are walking alive in Jesus.
This is the life long answer that every living person has been searching for in
their heart of hearts; but when it happened, they could not believe it “BECAUSE
IT IS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE.” Since it is
really true, I am here to make sure that you build upon the fact of the victory
of Jesus over sin and death. “IT IS A TRUE TOO GOOD NOT TO BE TRUE AND IT IS
TRUE INDEED, BECAUSE THE LORD JESUS IS RISEN AND HE IS RISEN INDEED.” Your cook and
reminder and witness on duty today. A witness is one who has believed another
credible witness. Gerry Gutierrez. Pictures are of
