Honoring godly women on Independence Day.

“Women follow Jesus to the end and beyond.”

Some men brag about being the immediate creation of God and belittle women as being a mediate creation.

Some women brag about themselves as the perfection of God’s creative powers while they refer to man as God practicing to finally create his masterpiece in women.

I brag about the Creation that revealed the glory of God and man (that is male and female) revealing fully the glory of God but only Jesus revealing PERFECTLY the glory of God.

My personal admiration is not for any male or female based on their strength or beauty but in their wisdom and faithfulness to follow perfect Jesus to the end.

When all things were said and done, it is women I find at the foot of the cross who had come following Jesus from Galilee to care for Jesus and his needs.

To Eve was the promise of the seed, to Mary was the Seed of God given, other faithful Mary’s were at the cross and to a Mary Jesus first appeared after his resurrection. Those are undisputed facts.

I am a man and a follower of Jesus. Without the help of my wife I believe I would have been totally lost, in jail or dead already.

In the same way, without the Holy Spirit, the helper of the believer, I would without a doubt be on my way to hell or already be there.

Man is the crown of God’s creation, but woman is the only being in the whole universe of God that bear the tittle of God the Holy Spirit as helper, comforter, remainder, guide and teacher.

A Great deal is made about men in the spot light of history that provokes resentment among women that like the ERA. The Equal Rights Amendment is one of many evidences of such resentment.

But God, the sovereign equalizer, puts women in prominent roles. Without them it is not only hard nor impossible to imagine history but it would be inconceivable.

Practically speaking not from the Lord but from reason alone, man is only as good as his seed. But according science men can be replaced by a sperm bank to perpetuate the human race but women are indispensable for conception when the life of an individual starts followed by gestation and birth.

Women like the Holy Spirit are very powerful beings and the wisdom of God saw to it that they is under the authority of their husbands. Just as the Holy Spirit is not an independent Holy Spirit but it is the Holy Spirit of Jesus to whom Jesus “SENT” to us in order to help us to do His will.

At the bottom line, men have to admit that women are more faithful to God than men because in silence they suffer the weight of the cross knowing before hand that the sword will pierce their hearts with no one to share their agony but with God.

It is said that, “The hand that rocks the cradle rules the world.”
Some might doubt the love of their father or even the paternity of such a father, but the love and the maternity of a Godly woman is without a doubt a treasure of high value.

Even Jesus honors women with the possibility to become his mother and sister by doing his will, but men are only offered the possibility to become a brother of Jesus but never a father of Jesus.

Men are in a seesaw relationship of love and hate disguised in jealousy and envy with his fellow man. Women observe and have time to process in holy silence and judge in fairness and exercise their spiritual oversight being led by the gentle but powerful Holy Spirit.

While some men use the power of the volume of their voice to pull rank over others seeking to control; women on the other hand in gentleness plant a time bomb in the hearts of men they love and wait on the Lord who honors their faith and make it shine as noon day light.

Aren’t you glad my brothers that we men are “In charge” but we are not going anywhere if we do not listen to our wives as our gift from God?

I am so thankful to my wife Ruthie that unbeknownst to her she has assembly an small army of her friends that in her name and in her honor they exercise gentle oversight with their encouraging help and words of wisdom that I receive every now and then from them. It is like a sweet chewing gum that I make it lasts for a long time.

Not long ago a wonderful and beautiful woman in the spotlight of our country said as her first public act in front of millions “Let us Pray.”
By the choice of her words that woman revealed the nature of her person before God in such a times as these where we need faithful woman in positions of influence who believe in prayer.
