“A letter of Praise and prayer”

This morning my daughter Margoth from Lima sent an email:
Please pray tomorrow
[2/21/19] at 7:30 am because my daughter Margoth has an appointment in the USA embassy in Lima for her visa to come and help me in my rehab for six months.

I am getting better but very slowly. My left arm is still very weak and numbed while my left leg gets very tired and weak in short order when I stand up.

Please pray also as I am planning my future ministry carefully. I have a renewed excitement in the vision of my life after I get better from my stroke. Pray also that I might find a reasonable plane ticket for Margoth as soon as I hear about her visa.

Thank you.

Gerry.

At 11:00 am my daughter Lois from Los Angeles sends the following letter,

I’ll be praying Dad.  Also please pray for Ben because he has been coughing since last night.  If he is sick the surgery will not happen and we will have to try to reschedule everything and pay for the same services again.  Thanks!

And a test from a beloved and faithful supporter came between this two letters that reads :

I will help with plane ticket if Margoth gets approved.

I love my job of Prayer Traffic Controller and I am passing it on to you as soon as I can so I am not inundated with plane tickets as some of you have already let me know your intention to help to the glory of God and to the encouragement of this “Toddler of Jesus” who even as I write these lines I am wearing a smile from ear to ear.

So since you are already in the praying mood, please lift up Benjie. He is about to have a hernia surgery and need to get over his coughing.

If the Lord has put in you heart to help Margoth who in your place will come to help me, I suggest you help Margoth directly because she has left her job and one minor son with her two older daughters so she will be free from cares while she is here with me. Just a thought - I thought you might find it helpful to bless Margoth for her willingness to come and help.

You Prayer Traffic Controller on duty in the Garden at the cool of the day.
