“Think of Jesus and let Jesus think for you.”

“Reflecting the glory of the husband.”

Settling to be the moon instead of the sun is not only proper but the only way to please God and bring glory to his name. To think of God to the point of thinking for God is the “work of God” in Jesus our Lord.

A loving wife who respects her husband is the glory of the husband as the moon reflects the sun. I would not be able to see the moon if it were not for the sun. If there is any good in me, it must be traced back to Jesus who did not only ask for my hand in marriage but faithfully remains with me to the end of the age. The end of the age is followed by the eternal practice of that for which I am willing to die today. Only the real intimacy with Jesus is in the closet of our hearts at the cool of the day. It will make us long to have eternity and the infinite as not long enough to sing God’s praises.

If Jesus is boring today, then life on earth is the only heaven some will experience. There is beauty in the Son of the Carpenter of Nazareth that the sow dust of earth must not hide its glorious appearance as the Son of God and God the Son himself. Look unto Jesus afresh, for he is fairer than ten thousand.

I know Jesus and I exceedingly rejoice when I see the family resemblance in his children in my times of fellowship with the saints. My friend asked me yesterday for one or two things that I have need on earth. Without a doubt I said “fellowship with the saints” because the fellowship of the saints is our inheritance from God purchased by Jesus. I am one who does not want to save his inheritance for later in Heaven because we will have plenty of it there and every day.

It is on earth that I need to splurge and enjoy that if it would be up to me, I would be like Job just praying for my children not to sin while in turn they feast day after day in as guests of one to another. It is all about hanging out with Jesus at the garden at the cool of the day.

“Think Tank.” “Think Prayer.”  “Think In Jesus.” “Think like Jesus.” “Talk like Jesus.” “Be like Jesus.” ... until you see Jesus in you the only hope of glory. That is your personal testimony which you owe to yourself more than to others. If Jesus is not a reality to you today, do not expect Jesus to be a reality to others through you.

Intimacy with Jesus cannot be faked. The lack of excitement of death as gain and heaven as reward is the lack reflection of intimacy with Jesus on earth.
When Jesus said “Behold I will be with you always,” he never meant “I will be like a pie in the sky when you die.” NO! NO! and NO!! The “I will be with you always” started as real promise to us the moment his words reached our ears. What a manner of love our God has given unto us that we might be called children of God, and that is what we are TODAY.

“Think Tank.” “Think Jesus.” Think God’s thought. You are made to think and are more thought of than flesh by the love, grace and wisdom of God in Jesus.
