Gerry Gutierrez' Update

“KNOW THIS.”

“To the bruised reed.”
“To the smoldering wick.”
“To the withering flower.”
“To the parched plant.”
“To the downcast.”
“To you who are consumed with doubts.”
“To the sad and lonely.”
“To the rejected and despised.”
“To the betrayed and left alone.”

“KNOW THIS.”
God is silent but not absent.
God is invisible but he is there and nearer than you think.
God removes idols to slide on their spot in your heart.
God is jealously in love with you.
God does not share you with anyone.
God is possessive.
God is like a husband to male and female.
In this dark, violent, dangerous, cold and infinite universe, “YOU ARE NOT ALONE.”

The Garden of Eden would be Hell if Jesus was not there.
Come to Jesus!
Do not hide behind the tree!
You do not need fig leaves to cover your shame.
Neither do you need sheep skins to cover your nakedness.
All you need is the righteous garment of Jesus the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world.

Return to the Garden to resume fellowship by prayer at the cool of the day with Jesus as if nothing wrong ever happened between you and God.
Trust not the world or the things of this world including your self or others, for “cursed is the man who puts his trusts in another man.”
Trust Jesus, for he alone is worthy of your trust.
If you have opened the door of your heart to Jesus the night he knocked at the door of your heart, then he no longer is outside the door of you heart but inside your heart. Let Jesus poke out from within you and make himself visible though your peace that passes all understanding.

It is in our weakness that God is made strong little flock.
Perhaps you are hurting today?
Your attitude to your pain is your testimony as a witness of Jesus.
Let Jesus be real to you and it is others that will see what is in you and fear and put their trust in God.
Just be what you are today for it is not what you say but you are in Jesus that people need from you.

Your fellow “glow worm” of Jesus.

Gerry Gutierrez.

PS. My life ministry has been reduced to what my one finger of my right hand can do on my smart phone.
This was food for thought I felt our Lord wanted me to share with you at 2:30 am.
Have a joyful day of the Lord this Sunday.
