Gerry Gutierrez' Update
While Nathaniel is preaching I am in the business of
dreaming. An update. “Dreaming
dreams.” This morning, between dream and reality I woke up at the sound of
a voice at my door that said: “IT’S CLASSIFIED”!! Then I greeted the Lord in my usual fashion and went to my time at
the cool of the day to hangout with Jesus reading Spurgeon and other passages
of scripture. Two things called my attention. What God said to Abraham was not
“classified” for Abraham’s ears only but for every believer throughout the
generations. Since by faith we all are children of Abraham. Lately I have had dreams that to me it seems to be a preview of
things yet to come that my reformed heritage does not allowed me to speak about.
These dreams as not to be “Ostracized” over my already “Radioactive”
life due to my views on prayer. CLASSIFIED OR NOT CLASSIFIED I will
mention to you that I am having dreams. “As we say in Peru, for now I will talk about the saint but not
about the miracle.” Could it be that we are approaching the end of time? I
dream happy dreams running as fast as I can and walking tall as not too long
ago. I cannot imagine my life but fully restored and what happen to me was not
as the doctors call an “accident” to my stroke. Nor is my stroke a sign of the
displeasure of God with me therefore a disciplinary measure from above. No! This stroke was just as my last big events in my life “NOT AN
ACCIDENT” but part of the unfolding of my predestined life carefully set from
eternity past that I might walk in them to the glory of God and my own benefit
and the common good of the body. (And the little bird outside my window keeps furiously hitting
herself against the glass for already a month.) There are people far away
wanting to come for a visit anxious to talk with me about Jesus. Even they said
to bring his wife who is a terrific cook that would feed me food like for a
King.
PS. I called Hugh and he is making reservations by plane to come
be with me for a week - he and his wife. Ben's hernia surgery was a very long surgery but very good one
also. Thank the Lord. These are my beloved friends the DeMarcos.
Bob. Bethany and Franklin.
