Gerry Gutierrez' Update

Breaking news from the Andes Mountains
An update!!!

My son as my body guard, friend and brother standing beside me in my dream TV Radio interview presenting Jesus was one of the high lights of my trip yesterday.
At my heart’s content I spoke freely about the name of Jesus as the reason for my existence. The long interview will be broadcast far and wide today
[Aug 16] at noon which is prime time in Peru while families eat their main meal of the day.

What a sense of relief it was for me to unleash in my mother tongue the gospel of Jesus.
Today around noon I will have the interview in Quechua which our Lord so mercifully postponed from last night.

Rejoice with me as I and countless people will hear at noon the message throughout the Andes and the jungles and the small unreachable villages.

“Dog tired” but as happy as a “slow chipmunk.”
Your hit man for Jesus.

Gerry

PS. It was a relief to take a break from my “unruly” little kids that some call them “Pirañas.” They are very difficult to pick up and transport to my house and to the restaurant and then back to their place of origin without loosing any of the seventy children.

My nurse aid and friend was paid well for her services but she understood wrongly the length of time and the hardship that also put her job in danger.
My Solomonic Solution is to instead of making a restaurant a place of prayer and laughter with kids - Who want to take part of their food in doggy bags home for the little brother or sister left behind, - I will prepare food bags and have the whole family share meals in the name of Jesus at home.

I will also meet the families and determine who will be the children of the most needy and promising long term to them that I will get involved if I survive this trip and happen to return.

No matter how I slice it now I cannot see myself returning without help.
I wish Osman and Janett would have the call and vision and provision. They do have experience in Cusco working with orphans. “We will see”.
