Gerry Gutierrez' Update

Your Sunday meal as food for thought to the little cloud in you.

“Good morning little mist.”

When you are told by James the very brother of Jesus that your life is nothing but a mist that is there for a moment and disappears the next, you live life urgently seeking to make it count even though in the process you may make a complete fool of yourself and be called “paranoiac”, “mentally ill,” “gobbledygook” or “pelican in the desert”.

Who is there to say they love him best who quietly run the race as a hamster within a wheel but criticize the chipmunk because he’s not in a routine? Chipmunks do not love life less just because they are not in an endless routine.

If all I have in life is time, how I spend my time is how I spend my life. I am entitled to spend what is mine the best I know how for the glory of God the good of others and the benefit of those near and dear to my heart that are family and the elect.

There is such a thing as control freak people around who will use any and every means as well as any and every opportunity to seek control.
But the only problem is that once they have the power to control, they don’t know what to do with control; because they themselves lack authority because only a person under authority has authority over others and Authority is of God.

In order to lead others you have to have vision and authority from above. Vision is from the heart, vision is from above; vision is from a life grounded in child like Faith and trust available to one and all everywhere in any and every generation.

The more childlike you are the more you are going to enjoy your faith and walk easily in agreement with God in prayer as you submit to his will as stated in the Word of God thus coming into alignment with God in the most natural way as the water follows the path of less resistance ending up always in the mighty Ocean in oneness with God. F=PW2.
Life just like water evaporates by the action of the Sun once again as little mist then a little cloud later a great gray cloud that blown by the wind goes East to rain again and to run it’s course back to the Ocean until the Lord will stop it by his return.

Let him who lives his life the best he knows how at the Council of the Holy Spirit through the scripture live in a childlike manner.
Let him who live by faith obtains small victories making friends of one, two or three as Jesus had in Peter, James and John.
Prayer requires of friends getting together in agreement to ask God things according his Will and having all things a prayer away.

Those small obediences to Jesus’ command to get together in agreement is the key to unlock the floodgates of heaven to see if there will be room to store the showers of blessings from him whose promises are right and truth.

The one who believes in the forest and goes after the crowds might live long in the safety of comfort and togetherness but he will never experience the sweet unity of the fellowship of the saints that is our inheritance on this earth purchased and paid in full by Jesus.

The Lord and Master Jesus in John 17 has prayed a prayer for all generations, a prayer according to the will of God that we may be maybe one as Jesus was with his father. He is inviting us to be one with him in with his father.

Apart from oneness with God in Jesus there is nothing worth in life to be desired. In fact there is not such a thing of having been made to last forever because nothing that has it beginning in time and space can last forever.

We are eternal creatures without beginning and end in virtue of the fact that before creation we were in God, from God, of God and for God coming into existence for a little time with a reasonable soul placed in a body as a renter in a house only to go back to God at death from where we come from while the body goes back to the dust from where it was taken.

In other words, you are eternal beings who were in the thoughts of God before the creation of the world and you will go back to God and be in God long after the created things have passed away.

“What is your life? You are mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes. Therefore you are to say, “If it’s the Lord’s will we will live and do this and that.” As it is, your boast and brag. All such a boasting is evil. Anyone, then, who knows the good he ought to do and doesn’t do it, sins.” James 4:14b-17.

This has been the words of a fellow little puff of cloud, a mist, reminding you another mist of who we are and what we are doing here, where do we came from and where we are going and where shall be in Jesus’ name.
