The secret power of Prayer within reach.

 

Accelerating the Return of Jesus.

 

It might sound strange to speak about accelerating the coming of the kingdom to a sovereign God. I would also raise both of my eyebrows if it were not for the agreement with the secret force of the power of Prayer. 
So to remove every doubt I will insist again and use all the audacity left in me and ask you, all kingdom people, to join me in asking God out-loud “YOUR KINGDOM COME”! In name of Jesus. 

What does it mean to pray “your kingdom come”? If you really believe in the Lord’s Prayer and you repeat after Jesus this prayer, then you are for accelerating the return of Jesus. You are under orders to pray this way by Him who knows how to pray to the Father.
“Your Kingdom come”
Yes Lord please come, come soon, come now, come before sun down, please come Lord Jesus return to us.
To say the very least about this portion of the Lord’s Prayer, it is not stepping for dear life on the breaks of the car of our lives.
If you’re not breaking, then what is your foot there for?
In the light of the end of time, where the speed of events are acquiring a life of its own, like when a car seems to increase its speed over the flow of traffic when it comes to a downhill highway, that is where we are today.

Even a pilot of an airplane with tail winds behind, he does not break but only stops accelerating. Never does one, who is traveling, push the break unless he has arrived or renounced the trip. If you are like most traveling fathers, the best part of every trip is coming back home. Those travelers always welcome down hill roads and the signs that increase the speed limit.

If you are interested in arriving home where you belong and your loved ones are, you are a friend of the accelerator and not of the break. Unless of course you are more interested in stopping over to see some mistress or have no home or father to run into his arms.

Show single-mindedness by longing for home and asking for the acceleration of the coming of the kingdom of God by prayer and supplications, as if your crying will make the difference for early arrival to your heavenly home, or your Father coming for you. 

Let the lack of readiness not silence your right to cry for His return.
Remember that it is by grace that you have been saved, “do not let you and your household’s salvation withhold you from asking the Lord to quicken His return”. No matter when the Lord returns, he will be arriving right on time and not a minute early or a minute late. Until Jesus comes the second time, he is coming through personal death for the individuals that are call home who in their hearts have asked in their death bed or before, “Thy Kingdom come” for me dear Lord. 

Push the pedal to the metal, for nothing should be more important and attractive to the traveler than to arrive home; that is if you have a Father in Heaven waiting for you whose name is Holy.
If so, you will want to accelerate the pace of your speed to arrive home, or ask Him to meet you here, there, or in the air, as the saying goes. Why would you pray “your kingdom come” if you love to break for distractions?

It’s true that by praying “your kingdom come”, you are pushing yourself and others to get ready for the coming of the Lord. 
He may choose this day to come as the answer to your prayers. Do not be afraid, for it is Jesus who taught us to pray by repeating after Him saying, “your Kingdom come”. Jesus is “dying to come back” for you, in fact He died and resurrected to come back for us.
As a friend of mine keeps telling me, “Jesus is crazy about you”.

Will you join me to ask the Lord to accelerate His return?
Would you go crazy with me in asking every day for His return?
It is not by hard work or deeds of service that the Sovereign God will return soon but, “if His people repent and cry out, God will hear them from heaven and come for them, and not only to heal the Land but establish His perfect and never ending kingdom. The kingdom of God is not a matter of words but of power, and I know no other source of power but in prayer in the power of the Spirit of God Himself, in whom coincidence does not exist but oneness, alignment and agreement with His will. 

From a toddler of Jesus who is a witness on duty to this generation.
