“A letter from the “Fire Marshall on Duty”.

“God’s building code.”

Matthew 7:24-29 …June 20 2018. Ga.

Good morning builders of all lands.

This is a friendly visit and a gentle reminder from one of God’s “Fire Marshall's on duty” about God’s building code. If you know how to read this letter, that means that you already are a grown-up and your life building is in progress and some of you about to finish your building while other are already living inside your houses.

Since it’s rainy season and flooding is common at this time of life and the winds are strong beating against your house I was given orders to come to warn you “before anything happens” so that you may know what to expect in case of the testing of God’s acts of providence.

Let me take a look to your “work permit” and show me your “blueprints” to see if you have kept the building codes. By the way your house looks very nice but I’m not interested on the interior or exterior of the house but the foundation.

I see you have a large family and the house is tall, so if you were going to build high you must have dug deep. I’m not going to inspect the roof at this time. I am too old to be climbing up the roof. You are young and live inside your house and for your own comfort you will keep the leaky roofs in good conditions.

My job description is only to focus in the foundation. I’m here to ask you if you have built your house on a rock or on sand because God’s Insurance Policy # 777 against falling with a great crash and total ruin covers only those who keep the building code of God.

Did you follow “the building code of God” in your choice of the foundation of your building? Is it Rocky or sand? No matter what man does on earth they are always building. The main issue is not to build or not to build. The main issue is to build wisely. If a man hears the words of Jesus and puts them into practice, he is like a wise man that built his house on the Rock.

I was born in an adobe house built by my grandfather over football size bedrock almost 100 years ago. Many houses around and about us have been built and have collapsed, but my grandfather‘s house does not even have a crack in the walls because when the earthquakes come the house moves along with the rock and for us good dwell inside the quakes are just like rocking chairs.

In building, it’s all about foundation. I read many years ago that the foundation of the Empire State building in New York is massive bedrock in Manhattan. Today the Sky Scraper defiantly stands tall having survived the test of time proudly to this very day.

Man and woman with families cannot have the luxury of building without a code. It is foolish to ignore the building code of God who happens to be our Father in Heaven and he also is a master builder who has built the Universe by the power of his word. God is doing the same thing in the unseen world, building a kingdom by the power of his word.

Look at the news today and see how those who ignore God’s building code live long enough to see their buildings crashing and falling in great ruin as spider caught in their own cobweb.

Thus says the Lord our God: “You can be sure that your sins will find you out.”
