Gerry Gutierrez' Update
Due to my Medicare
Insurance limitations, I was asked to
leave earlier than what I thought Letter from Gerry to his doctor: Dear Doctor Rxxxxx, >> With
great regret at not completing my rehab treatment in the Siskin Hospital I have
accepted your decision to be discharged from your hospital as you have
suggested tomorrow the 18 of Dec. 2018 at 10 am. >> After your visit this morning I
called my son the Reverend Nathaniel Gutierrez in Tacoma, Washington
. >> He is coming immediately and will
arrive tomorrow to pick me up in the morning at the determined time by you
Doctor Rxxxx and take me to Los Angeles to my
daughter's care. >> I could leave today if I could
but unfortunately I cannot but I must leave due to the fact that my peace does
not rest anymore at Siskin. I am a servant of the most high
God and he will take care of me. >> Thank you for your help. >> Please see to it that I am
discharged promptly tomorrow morning at your request. >> Gerry Gutierrez >> Sent from my iPhone. PS. I am home with
the help of Osman and Nathaniel. Nathaniel arrived from Seattle on schedule and
Osman picked him up at the airport and within an hour of his arrival I was
taken out from the hospital and brought home and entered the house from the
back yard with Osman at my right and Nathaniel on my left singing the song that
Ruthie loved to sing as we walk the long steps into the house. "Somos Amiguitos" which is
equivalent of "The tres Amigos version of Peru."
We found the House spotlessly clean and in order due to Caleb's hard work the
previous week when he came immediately after my stroke. Dec. 19, 2018 Today we pack and
tomorrow we flight to Los Angeles as a herd of turtles rejoicing in the whole
thing, "The Finger Prints of God" all over. Dec. 21, 2018 We arrived to Los Angeles
and had a good night sleep. Dec. 22, 2018 My
First full day in Los Angeles. Lois put me to
work in my rehab program right away. My left arm has
not gotten any better since the stroke though I am strong in my grip but is
still numb and tingling and painful. My left leg
getting strong but it is wobbly. Keep me in your
prayers and ask the Lord for rehab and restoration. I do very little
yet get exhausted very much. Rare!! Your wounded
warrior, Gerry Gutierrez.
