The
love of God does not decrease with time.
It does not increase with time either.
The love of God “IS”.
While the love of some grows cold we have the tendency to think that it must be
a natural course for love to died down with time.
Be free, for to freedom you have been called and freely you have been given and
freely you have received so let freedom have its way.
When your were still in your sins as a worthless sinner and an enemy of God in
your mind, God loved you in Jesus; will he now despise you that which cost the
life of his one and only Son?
NO! My beloved, God is not a man to fail his word. He has loved you with an
everlasting love.
He has also promised to be with you always to the very end of the ages.
Doubt any and all things, but not his given word.
God is his word and his word is good.
I trust God because his keeps his word .
I also trust men whose word is good.
I respect a man who keeps his word.
A man is only as good as his word.
Last night after 16 hours of work my son Caleb returned home from Seattle to
Tacoma with a box of delicious peaches on his shoulder still in his uniform
taller that ever or perhaps I am shrinking already at seventy and hugged me in
a welcome mode that match his words of invitation issued to the whole family
for a family reunion in his house.
Only my Osman was missing for the baptism of Aaliyah
Kay next Sunday.
As I was seated at the head of the table by Caleb I keep remembering the words
of my grandmother who in great joy during family reunion would say “”This is
life...this is life”.
In my case I keep saying to my self and to my children as in a prayer like
expression, ”What a blessed man I am, thank you Lord. Thank you Jesus ”.
I was so grateful remembering Caleb who said, “do not go to a Hotel dad, I want
the whole family in my House”.
I felt welcome that there is room in the inn for me in his heart and home.
In fact if it were not for the overcast weather of Tacoma I would move near
Caleb who keeps inviting me to come and be near them.
Please thank the Lord with me my friends who read this letter “Rejoice with me
and pray in thanks given for it is the will of God to rejoice together those
who know the Royal Law in James.”
My Peace has rested in this house and as I stay in it and leave from it in a
week I know the blessing of Abraham will rest on this home.
“I will bless those who bless you and I will curse those who curse you.”
The highlight of the day was to meet Aaliyah Kay.
Yesterday after Caleb left for work in Seattle at four in the morning as he
just did a while ago, I waited nervously for the baby to wake up and took a
long shower and carefully shaved and brushed my teeth twice and comb my hair
just right to impress a six months old little girl.
At Kelly’s signal I came out to the living room with curtains wide open and saw
as Simeon of old the baby of my prayers the smallest Gutierrez.
It was love at first sight. What a beautiful little cherub
that escaped heaven just to cheer me up.
After fourteen hours she would be arching her back from her mother’s arms to
smile to me good night as she was taken to sleep.
Once again I know that it is by grace we are saved through Faith and that not
of ourselves but it is the gift of God so no one can boast.
I do not deserve any of these blessings from God in my family, but I accept
thankfully and with great joy as part of the never changing love of God that
does not decrease with time but does not increased either but “IS” and is there
to stay regardless of my feelings and circumstances.
The love of God is rooted outside space and time and will never change as the
love of people does change on earth.
“REJOICE, FOR YOU ARE CREATED TO BE LOVED WITH EVERLASTING AND UNCHANGEABLE
LOVE”
A lover of God and witness of the love of God in Jesus.
