Luke 19: 11 to 27 (Early this morning)

The Parable of the Ten Minas

11 While they were listening to this, he went on to tell them a parable, because he was near Jerusalem and the people thought that the kingdom of God was going to appear at once. 
12 He said: “A man of noble birth went to a distant country to have himself appointed king and then to return. 
13 So he called ten of his servants and gave them ten minas.[a] ‘Put this money to work,’ he said, ‘until I come back.’
14 “But his subjects hated him and sent a delegation after him to say, ‘We don’t want this man to be our king.’
15 “He was made king, however, and returned home. Then he sent for the servants to whom he had given the money, in order to find out what they had gained with it.
16 “The first one came and said, ‘Sir, your mina has earned ten more.’
17 “‘Well done, my good servant!’ his master replied. ‘Because you have been trustworthy in a very small matter, take charge of ten cities.’
18 “The second came and said, ‘Sir, your mina has earned five more.’
19 “His master answered, ‘You take charge of five cities.’
20 “Then another servant came and said, ‘Sir, here is your mina; I have kept it laid away in a piece of cloth. 
21 I was afraid of you, because you are a hard man. You take out what you did not put in and reap what you did not sow.’
22 “His master replied, ‘I will judge you by your own words, you wicked servant! You knew, did you, that I am a hard man, taking out what I did not put in, and reaping what I did not sow? 23 Why then didn’t you put my money on deposit, so that when I came back, I could have collected it with interest?’
24 “Then he said to those standing by, ‘Take his mina away from him and give it to the one who has ten minas.’ 
25 “‘Sir,’ they said, ‘he already has ten!’
26 “He replied, ‘I tell you that to everyone who has, more will be given, but as for the one who has nothing, even what they have will be taken away. 
27 But those enemies of mine who did not want me to be king over them—bring them here and kill them in front of me.’

  The enemies of God are those who resist and resent the will of God over them and hate him in passive aggressive manner.
 The enemies of God are those who know to be powerless to confront God and wage war behind his back as a snake in the grass. Just like Satan in heaven plotting behind God’s back organizing a coup d'état against God and fails. Nobody can prevail over God. The enemies of God are those who resist the will of God clearly manifested to them.


The enemies of God are those who want their own will to prevail.
The person who resist a will, hate the will.
The will is not a concept the will is a person.
The will does not exist on it's own apart from a person.
The man and his will are one of the same thing.
Therefore the crash of two wills is the crash of two persons.

In the conflict of two to willful persons, one will prevail over the other.

Both can not co-exists, and when one overcomes the other the winner must put the other to death. Enemies are just that, “enemies”. They are moving in two different directions. They are moving towards two different destinies. These enemies by nature are irreconcilable parties. One must kill his enemies for their own good. If in pride and arrogance the winner lets his enemies survive in order to show off their plunder and allows them alive within their walls, they will never sleep in peace and will live to see his children and their lives in grave danger.

When a believer does not deal with sin as an enemy of his soul, he will eventually allow the “pet sin” to grow and devour him as “pet lion” that grows and devours its owner. It is the nature of sin to bring dead as much as it is the nature of a lion to kill and devour because he is a wild animal.

Jesus said, “You cannot serve two masters, either you will love one and hate the other or you will be devoted to one and despise the other.  

Jesus’ first executive order when he returns will be,

“Bringing them here and kill them in front of me!”

On what charges some may ask?

“Unwillingness to accept me and reject my will”  

They did not want me as King; they will die without a King.

I want to make sure that they are dead. I want to see them killed.

“Bring them here and kill them in front of me!”

Justice must be led to total victory. It is just and legal to kill an enemy.

The contained anger of offenses committed long time ago is now in its boiling point. The volcano is about to erupt. The cup of their iniquity is full and running over



They may be there lawyering on the religious minds. They may raise a question in a hypothetical defense on behalf of the defendant such as this,

“My clients accepts the guilt of having raised in a coup d’état but they did not succeed so they did not consume the intended crime”

The Supreme Court of Justice Judge of the Universe will answer in a thundering and firm voice;  

Their crime is in their intension!!



And the hummer will fall on the desk of the judge for one last time.

Satan did not succeeded either in his attempt against God, yet his intention was judged and condemned to hell just the same.

Beware of the intention of your heart. If you hate your brother, is equal to murder. The lust of the eyes is equal to adultery. The pride of life that makes you the ruler of your own life is resisting the Lordship of God that is practical unbelief, which is the unforgivable sin.

As great as the Universe is, remember that there is no room but for one will and that will is bound to prevail. That will is the wants, desires and longings of a sovereign God who alone rules and prevails. Nothing whatsoever comes to pass is beyond his control for the glory of his name. Amen

PS. The administration of money is certainly only a parable to challenge us to think in the faithful administration of the gifts given to us. The intentions and predispositions of our inner nature is the closet of our hearts is where God alone hears and sees and is accepted or resisted.

Bear with me my friends as in my writings all I am doing is to invest daily that was entrusted to me from the word seeking some dividend in a “depressed market” of child like thinking. As a retiree I am also trying to justify my day’s (food) wages for a day’s work as I try to squeeze the lemon with the aid of the Holy Spirit who is a good friend of widows and widowers and the abandoned.

I will always pray for Julie for the best from the Lord for her in her walk with Jesus.

Mean while I will remain in the same spot where she saw me in her rear end mirror.

Thanks to your prayers a clearer mind has returned to me. There is also an unquenchable desire to go in and out to and from the Holy of Holies in search for his voice and a little laughter and some tears of genuine joy. Don’t pity me. Sicker I have never been, stronger in Jesus as never before either. I wish you the same. I love it!
