Gerry & Julie Gutierrez' Update
April 8, 2015 Dear Friends, Doctors are still puzzled and doing tests and are waiting the results to properly diagnose Josiah, but after six hours in the Hospital, he is back home and doing "fine". Once again I have much to be thankful to the Lord for his answer to our prayers. Our God keeps welding our hearts together as we care for one another in intercessory prayer. In this kind of prayer the one who prays get nothing but the divine satisfaction at seeing the joy of one who leaps and dances before the Lord. That is not to say that God the Father is reluctant to provide on his own and at all times to them that have need of Him. But God in his infinite wisdom has designed "needs, prayer and faith through Jesus" to put us in alignment with his ever prevailing immutable will and live the fellowship of the saints that is our inheritance on this side of Heaven.
The Canaanite Woman’s Faith (Matthew 15: 21 to 28)The Canaanite woman was denied by Jesus the answer to her prayer, but she cried out all the more and with great tears. Jesus tells the woman the reason for his negative answer. "I have come to the lost sheep of Israel and it is not good to give to the dogs what is of the children. She said "Yes Lord", yet even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their master's table. The point is to agree with Jesus will and priorities and still keep begging and appealing to his tender mercies. The woman found mercy by Faith in Jesus. Now if a woman outside the household of God can feed from the crumbs that fall from the table; how much more we of the household of God's elect will not have plenty in the table of God's mercies. Then if we do not have it is because we do not ask and if we ask and do not have it is because we do not have faith. We have no one to blame but to our own lack of trust in Jesus. Some said; "While the world is starving to death, the children are playing with the food". I myself am from foreign lands and have no one Jesus and you my friends. I thank you for standing with me and my children. May you never be counted as those as Jesus' disciples who came and urged him, saying, ‘Send her away, for she keeps shouting after us" rather shout with me all the more. Weeping and praying "YES LORD." And together we will see the power of God immediately as today bringing back Josiah home. Let the world see how we love our children and that we love them with our tear. "Wet Prayers" my brothers, for our children, Wet prayer and agreeing with Jesus, Yes Lord! Your Co-inheritor of the covenant promises in Jesus in whom all things are "Yes". Gerry Gutierrez PS - My ulterior motive of keeping you posted is that we may together come to the point to "Make a bold use of God's power in Faith Full Prayer in the name of Jesus.
