Dearest praying friends;

Ten days ago Ruthie fell from bed trying to turn off an alarm clock. She said "I forgot that I did not have my legs." She was bruised in both of her knees. When I enquired why she was so desperate to turn off the alarm; she said: "You were working late last night and I did not want to wake you up." Shucks! My face is all red! I think she loves me!! So I said, "That sounds like love." Do you love me? She answered "For 37 year I have born your children, cooked your meals and washed your laundry, fought with you, laughed with you and wept with you and slept with and you are asking me; Do you love me?" Yes (Golda) Ruthie I am asking you; Do you love me? Then she said; "I love you honey" And just to finish like Tevyah on "Fiddler on the Roof" I said "I guess I love you too."

That day was very important for us. The femur bone that refused to heal did not break. I said to Ruthie; I think the Lord has spoken. What a better evidence. I know that my favorite critics are saying "Watch Gutierrez with your private heresies." You see some two months ago I was the victim of a touch of Hypochondrianism because of some pain in my bones, and I was wondering if I had Osteoporosis. And the following thing happen to me. Ruthie was in the basement and needed the Commode so I was bringing it down and lost my balance and fell down the steps and landed on both of my knees but did not smashed my face on the wall at the bottom of the steps; neither did I break any bones. I got my answer to the osteoporosis question. I am sure that some may think I needed that whacking. But if all the whacking of the Lord ends like this, let them come. It would be heresy if I said that the Lord drives us to our knees by whacking. Though that is not a bad idea.

After my Ruthie fell she was very angelical and lovely all over the whole day. I could not take my eyes off her. She looked so well and rosy. In our memory that day will always be remembered as "THE DAY" of God's renewing grace. I was eager to see the Doctor ten days later which was today. He said "THERE IS HEALING!!. IN FACT 75% OF THE BONE HAS BEEN HEALED. YOU CAN START WALKING WITH A WALKER AND DO EXERCISE IN THE POOL. THIS IS GOOD NEWS." In the five months that we know this Doctor we did not know that he knew how to smile. But today he was all smiles. So are we full of smiles too to the point that our chick hurts (Hyperbole).

Rejoice with us for the health in the bones which was lost has been found. Thank you for your prayers and the Intercessory Prayers of Jesus to the Father in our behalf.
